13 December 2008, Saturday [Kelvin's passing out parade~]

Time sure flies huh?! It seems like we've just celebrated CNY a few months ago and now we're gonna celebrate Christmas and 2009 is approaching...

And...Kelvin's been in the navy as a recruit for 3 months already, Laogong and I (along with his friends) attended his passing out parade at Changi Naval Base and witnessed the glorifying moment~

The beautiful sea view from where we sat~
Kelvin's friends~
The recruits~
Officers~
Kelvin performed alongside his fellow camp mates and they put up really funny skit...
It was very entertaining and different from the usual army P.O.P even the officers, themselves were amused~

It makes us proud as well, to see Kelvin doing sooo well...

Can you spot my brother; Kelvin???
There were other perfomances as well...
Finally~ They all came out dressed in the smart "white" uniforms~
This was the time whereby families, relatives or friends go down to see them and put on the berets for them...

Kelvin and his very shy friend; Catherine ~
Full shot~
Laogong adjusts Kelvin's beret~
Nice view~
Proud of my brother~
Laogong, Kelvin and me~

2 Kelvins here~ My brother with his sergeant~
Here are two short clips of the passing out parade~ Do paused my IMEEM player before you proceed to play the clips...

We went into another room after the parade ended, for some light snacks and beverages...Chatted with Kelvin as well and he told Laogong that his camp mates knew Laogong as Kelvin's brother-in-law~ *LOL...(Laogong like this "term" very much~ haha)

While my identity was unknown cuz Kelvin refused to tell them, I'm his sister when they kept bombarding him with questions like; "eh, who's that? Your sister?? That pretty one is who?"....etc....Kelvin even told both Laogong and I that he heard his camp mates saying; "there, there, the one dressed in black one very pretty leh~"

Yada yah da...yayayadaaa....Yes, you guys guessed it~ "dressed in black" refers to me...*Duh

My brother and Laogong laughs it off...Whereas, I've got no comments~

Anyway we went off after the whole thing ended...Kelvin and his friends left first while Laogong and I headed down to Marina Square followed by Suntec for window-shopping...

Hours later, met up with Kelvin and his friends again for late lunch...Very late late lunch~ I was lethargic and fuming but tried to keep it down until I could no longer control it and reprimanded my brother for being indecisive and wasting time...

Must have frightended his friends~ Pardon me...

Still...I'm proud of Kelvin, navy specialist-to-be, very proud of my brother!

Ooo...And Laogong caught this @ Suntec to cheer me up~
Thanks Laogong!
Settled for Sakae sushi in the end...Laogong and I left earlier cuz we're really too tired to stay on...Went back to Laogong's place and we napped~

12 December 2008, Friday (Advance birthday celebration for Rennis)

Headed back home to change after the interview...Walked over to Laogong's place and just when I was about to reach his block, something happended~

By the way, I was clad in my usual tank top, jeans (fold to 3/4) and heels on that day...

Here's my photo for that day~
As I was saying...I was blasting music from my Ipod through earphones while walking to Laogong's place, hence, didn't noticed anyone following/ stalking me...Until this guy whom suddenly appeared outta nowhere and stopped me in the front...*Duh

This guy (wore a white "NS" polo tee) started talking to me and sooo I took off my earphones and it actually turned out to be a "塔擅"~ *DUH x2 *(NS is national service, better known as the army too while 塔擅 means urm...Someone you don't know, approaches to befriend you)

I rejected this guy immediately and he was quite persistent...Even tried asking me, is it really impossible to be friends and stuffs...*DUH x4

I resorted to the last method which was the typical one...Haha~ Told him I got a boyfriend already and he finally gave up and even said; "Ok lor" in a funny way...Put back my earphones and continued walking...Damn!! Seriously I should have told the guy that Laogong's house was just up front!! Which is real cuz I'm going there lor!!! *LOL

Perhaps I should have told him that I got a GIRLFRIEND instead huh~ *lmao (like I always to used to, in the past)

Never mind about that actually but I do find it a irony!! To think that someone still uses this method to get to know girls now and, and it's right in front of Laogong's block lah!! *Hahs~ Anyway that guy is quite a looker but I disappointed him...I salute this guy for gathering the courage to approach me ya~ It is not easy...*lmao

Hey! If you ever read my blog, I really wanna thank you for wanting to know me ya! Least I still know I've got the charms huh...*LOL~ (Urrrr...Starts to vomits for self-admiring! Giggles)

Laogong got angry when I told him someone had just attempted to snatch his beloved wife away from him under his block...*HAHAHAHHAHAHA

Alright~~~ Nuff' about that...We rushed off to meet up with Rennis and Emeleen at Bugis but we reached earlier, bought tickets for 4 of us to "Twilight" and went up to queue for "M.O.F" while waiting for the couple to arrive...

Enjoyable dinner at "M.O.F" and regular buys from Kinokuniya~ =D
Window-shopped around Bugis thereafter caught our movie and we headed home after that...

Hoped Rennis liked his pressie and we all had such great times chatting and catching up with each other!! Happy birthday in advance again dude!!! I bet Emeleen has tons of wonderful stuffs in-stall for you on that actual day!!!

Lastly...Something unrelated...

Cute doll-houses spotted @ IMM~
Will be doing a review on Twilight next!! =D Sooo watch this space!!! Ta ta~
