26January2006

Sorry for all the late posts, had'nt been able to get in touch with my computer so explains the sudden posts springing up...So now, a new post...

Laogong and I went down to Wisma first, and I went to get my red-color eye shadow from Anna Sui...The casing was rather exquisic but a little costly at $32, Laogong got a little shocked when he saw me paying for the eye-shadow...But, well...I considered it as a new year gift for myself...*grins...Then, we went to search for Pizza hut to have the new pizza but sadly, there was none in the whole orchard area!! So, we ended up walking to Plaza Singapura to have our pizza...It was suppposed to be my treat to Laogong but he paid for it in the end and then told me to forget about it...So after our dinner, we went down to Chinatown, and managed to see lotsa new year tibits and decorations, etc...It was really crowded, teens, uncles, aunties were almost all there to feel the festive mood...

Laogong and I felt hot after some time, but still enjoyed ourselves quite a lot...We've also bought some stuffs, at good prices...I bought a chinese-imprinted fabric handbag which was really nice and cheap...While Laogong bought a gun which could fire confetti and some whisltling sparklers, which he wants to play together with me...*Grins...Besides, these stuffs...We've also bought some new year tibits, I bought Taiwan (muah chee) and jelly while Laogong bought love letter, honey hole (name for a kinda cracker) and queh bankit...We've also got a cute piggy plush container for Laogong to put toilet roll in, cuz he used to had one which was plastic but had spilted...So, this new plush-toy container makes sure that Laogong won't break another one again...What's more is that, it's cute!! *pouts

While squeezing through the crowd, Laogong and I had managed to find the chocolate fountain and the traditional popcicles there at chinatown...Laogong and I stood in front of the stall together with other customers, and watched the guy made the popcicles by turning a big aluminium container several times...Before long, the popcicles were ready...All of the popcicles were made from various soft drinks which you could easily get from supermarkets, and I bought a "Kikapo" flavour one to share with Laogong...It costed only 80cents and tasted not bad...

With all the bags in our hands, Laogong suggested a movie at Cineleisure...So, Laogong decided for us to go there in a cab but took the mrt instead cuz there were too much people waiting for one...We reached Cineleisure at around 10plus or so, and quickly went to purchase tickets...Laogong had paid for all the stuffs earlier on, so movie was on me...hehehe...Laogong and I decided to watch The Heirloom, but the next available slot was scheduled at 1.25am!! So, then the witty us suddenly thought of going to K-box first and sing until the time to the movie starts...Ain't we smart? hahaha...We sang a lot of songs inside, this time my nose giving me no problems at all...We enjoyed ourselves very much, but soon the time was up so Laogong quickly paid then we went to level 9, bought our favourite nachos and went to catch the show...

The movie lasted around 1hour plus, I think...hee...It was already 3am plus when we got out of Cinelesiure...By this time, both Laogong and I were dead-beat so we took a cab back to Laogong's house and got to sleep as soon as we hit the bed...=))

24January2006, Tuesday (9.16pm)

I'm back at home now, blogging again...I had overslept in the morning again, so Laogong came to fetch me again...I was still not quite feeling very good, even picked on Laogong and almost tried to use the scissors to cut my wrist...Luckily, Laogong stopped me in time and grabbed the pair of scissors away from me...

I was on the verge of breaking down already, it seems like everyone was opposing me and pushing me away...I felt so depressed, a relapse I supposed...All these kinda feelings are slowly returning, to haunt me...I just wanted to end all this misery...If had'nt for Laogong, I would be worst...I really glad that in this critical time, Laogong was by my side consoling, and caring for me...Reminding me that, in this world, Laogong will always stand by me...Thank you, baobei...I love you...

24January2006, Tuesday
Today, I overslept...Laogong came and woke me up after he had seen a chinese sinsei for a follow-up check up on his sprained ankle...The night before, I told Laogong that I've gotta work on the 1st day of Chinese New Year...I've also told him that nobody had informed me at all that I was gonna work until I heard it from other colleagues' conversations...Laogong was really pissed off and angry on my behalf , saying that the management was lousy and all...I had nothing to say but to keep quiet and listen to Laogong scolding them, Laogong was really fierce and kept telling me that I should'nt have been so nice to them...I almost wanted to cry out while listening to Laogong but I refrained from it...Laogong knew that I've extended my last day to stay and help them out till Febuary 11th and now Laogong thinks that it's because I'm leaving soon, that's why they purposely scheduled me for work on the 1st day...I don't think they would be so cruel cuz I believe they're still quite good to me...I'm glad that Laogong cares for me, but on the other hand...I'm having dilemmas...

Just this afternoon, I've told my dad that I've gotta work on the 1st day of CNY and immediately I was reprimanded by him...Dad said that I should'nt have worked at this kinda place in the first place, cuz I had qualifications and computer knowledge...Blah, blah, blah, etc...I could say nothing but keep mum...I've told dad before that I might go back to work as a casual labour for them, but he also scolded me saying that I should be getting a better job not just work one day...He even said that if I were to get red packets on that day, it is actually "peanuts"..."SO WHAT? IT'S NOT AS IF THE RED PACKET GIVEN IS V.BIG..." was his words...Now, my dad is forcing me to make a decision, either I quit immediately or he'll quit on my behalf...If I insist on working further, he'll definately blow his top off, then things will get very ugly and I'll also have a bad bad CNY...He is totally not satisfied with me still having to slog on this day...He is my biological father, I don't have the guts and reasons to refused him at all...What am I to do? I really don't want things to turn out this way, as I thought in the first place, I could score a chance to work on the eve of CNY instead of...Haiz...It's really troubling me...Laogong also wants me to make a decision and be firm...I need to talk to Elsie or Ah Kai this Wenesday when I go for work again...I'm really sorry if I've let them all down but I've got no other choices or ways to go anymore...I know they've been really nice but who else can direct or tell me what to do? I did'nt want all this to end in a ugly way, I would still wanna return to WineBar again with them still treating me as their friend not foe...I've really got no choice...Cant anyone help? I'm going crazy already...

This is a bad start for me in the beginning of year 2006, I really cant bear to bring up this matter to Elsie or Ah kai at all...I'm really upset...I'm forced to the limits...I'm so tired...So very sorry...I guess nobody would understand my feelings, except for Laogong...I could really use shoulder of Laogong's to cry on...Can anyone lift this emotional burden off me?

22January2006, Sunday

I've been sick for these past few days, been diagnosed with nose infection then now heavy cough plus sore throat and the dreadful period has come, my stomach's bloated and feels pain every now and then...My work's being affected as well...Hope all these will go away soon...

Yesterday night, when I turned up for work, I got to know that I have to work on the 1st day of Chinese New Year...It really spoils my mood, so I was'nt talking much or smiling as always, plus my stomach was giving me problems...*shrugs...It's really sickening, I thought that I could swap the working days with my colleagues but none were willing to help...It really really dampens my mood, I do understand that everyone wants to get an off day for this once-in-a-year important celebration but why do I have to be the one to suffer? So regretful that I've agreed to help Elsie work till Feb 11, I should have been at home by now resting and getting ready for CNY, instead I've got this to repay me for my kindness...Now, I understand why Robby does'nt trusts or helps anyone again...The feelings sucks totally...

I've been happily preparing and waiting for CNY, but now, no more festive mood...I don't wanna help anyone anymore...Not if it benefits me...

19January2006, Thursday
I was supposed to work until 3am yesterday night, but unfortunately I was sick so I got to go home at 1am instead...Dad came to fetch me home, it was nearly 2am when I've reached home...I went to sleep after smsing Laogong about it...

So there goes, my first illness in 2006...Apparently, I was diagnosed with nose infection...Although I was pretty sure that Laogong had passed his flu onto me, but the doctor asked me about my job and said it was due to the heavy smokes from my workplace which explains my sudden outbreak...I just hope that the medication prescribed by the doctor will work, or else I'll have to waste money for another checkup again...

Finally, I've recieved my salary yesterday night too...I was about to ask Elsie about it but she got to me first...I was rather upset with the CPF deduction, $100plus deducted!! But on the other hand, CPF is good for future use, so......*shrugs

Laogong has sprained his ankle just this Tuesday, he wanted to catch his company bus so that he could bring me to the doctor for my nose problem but had fallen down the stairs...Silly me, even got angry and misunderstood that Laogong was actually finding a reason not to come to my house...Eventually, Laogong came up together with his mum and my grandma chatted with Laogong's mummy while Laogong woke me up...Laogong's feet was wrapped up and from a glance, you could tell that it was swelling...So I stayed at Laogong's house for two days and was by Laogong's side to take care of him till Wednesday, which he could finally go work...

Now that, I've recieved my long-awaited paycheck, I'm gonna treat Laogong to a good meal...hehehe...But we've still gotta be picky over food choices cuz we're both not well and have to avoid certain food...*pouts

I'll be back to post soon...

15January2006, Sunday

Here I am again, as promised...Blogging! Lols...I've just been back from my work at Zouk, almost lost track of the dates due to lotsa work lately...So much stuffs to blog that, I've gotta slowly recall the events...*grins...

Last Thursday(12Jan06), Laogong's off day

I fell asleep on thursday early morning after my work the night before, and Laogong woke me up with a call...Telling me to get ready then go to his house, Laogong was gonna bring me for a singing session at Kbox...We spent 3hours at Kbox, of which Laogong sang the most...My nose was blocked whenever I tried to sing, so I gave up and listened to Laogong sing...Only occasionally, I had sang duets together with Laogong...We both ate curry chicken rice which I thought, was still not bad...Towards the end of the last song, I corrected Laogong on his pronounciations and Laogong got angry...We both did not talked much when we've left Kbox, I did not knew where to go to, so I walked aimlessly with Laogong following at the back...Then, when I was really fed up, I just gave up and sat down at one of the benches at the bus interchange at Jurong East...Laogong, finally took my hand and had me board the mrt with him...

Inside the train, both of us(due to lack of sleep after work) overslept...It was Laogong who woke me up and we got down at Newton station, to get back to Orchard station...Laogong and I were alright after that, and we walked to Far East...On the way, Ah ger saw us and stopped me...I was rather tired so I did not even notice her, we spoke for a short while, parted then Laogong and I continued on to Far East...Laogong accompanied me around, window-shopping...It was disappointing that I could'nt find any nice bottoms, but alas, I did went home with a little something...

Laogong and I went to the 3rd or 4th floor, then I walked into Watts' In...Immediately, a lovely gold entangled necklace caught my eye...It had a diamond-studded cross as a main pendent, and a few pearls and jewels to compliment each other...I asked Laogong if it was nice, and he nodded...So then, I asked for the sales girl's help and enquired on the price...It was $35, which I thought was a ok-price, cuz I've walked into other shops in Far East, saw a few necklaces like this would have costed at least $100plus and the price was a huge difference!! Without second thoughts, I told the sales girl that this was it...Laogong readily paid for it and we went off to HANS, to have our early dinner...

We went back home after our dinner as Laogong was having a headache, once onboard the train, Laogong and I fell asleep again and only woke up when we've reached the last station(Boon Lay).

Hey everyone, I'm back again...But for now, I'll just type a short one cuz I still gotta catch some sleep before my work in the evening again...

I've just helped Laogong dyed his hair(wonder how it'll turn out later), Laogong is playing his Ps2 and waiting for his hair color to take effect...I've not logged into my friendster account and also not blogging, due to a power failure in my laptop...I've sent it for repair since, and it's gonna be delivered to my house today but my brother will be collecting it, not me...*grins

I cant wait to blog again cuz I've got sooo much to tell!! Right now, I'll go join Laogong to help him in his game Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks...So long, guys!! Muah hahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahaahahahhahahahahahahaahahah.

8 Jan 2006, Monday
It's been quite some time since I've last blogged...I so occupied with work, and Laogong...No time to type long blogs...What's more, is that I don't really have much stuffs to blog on...But i guess now, I do...*grins

Last thursday, Laogong's off day...We went down to Bugis to shop, and eat as well...To my dismay, there was nothing that I could buy...I did fancied a dress but, Laogong said I looked funny in it, and the price was also a little not worthy, so I did not get it in the end...Laogong on the other hand, got a pair of jeans for CNY...It costed cheap, and was quite nice...

Though I did not managed to buy anything, I still had a thing to bring home to...Yet another, plush toy caught by Laogong...keke...We're super-lucky on that day...There were a few other people trying out their lucks at the machines, I saw a super-huge mickey mouse and Laogong immediately went to change coins cuz he knew I would want it...Laogong had only managed to changed five $1 coins and with the very first token, the mickey mouse was caught and dragged to the hole..Laogong and I both thought that, the mickey mouse would hit the plastic divider but to our surprise...The mickey mouse went passed and dropped out through the prize hole...I was totally dumbfounded, and so were the people that were staring at Laogong...It felt great though, with just first single token, I've got a mickey mouse in my arms...

I love you, Laogong!! muacksssssss...

4January2006, Wednesday
I've not slept yet...And it's already 5.33am...I've gotta go for work at Zouk again in the evening, hopefully I would be able to get my salary then...It's getting rather tiring for me to continue working at Zouk, though I've enjoyed and made many friends there...

I'm gonna leave Zouk soon, but memories of it will always stay with me...I've been working so hard during the festive seasons in 2005, but my salary still is'nt here...I want my payroll!! *pouts

I wanna buy a few more items, perhaps clothes or accessories or handbag for CNY...Laogong's already had all that he's gonna wear for CNY so maybe I'll treat him to a meal after I get my salary...I really want my salary ASAP...CNY's approaching in less than a month's time, I'm so happy and looking forward to it cuz I get to accompany Laogong to meet his relatives and all...I hope by then, I'm enjoying my CNY and not working at Zouk...*grins

5:11 AM

01January2006, Sunday
The first day of 2006, I was at Zouk working again...Surprisingly, there was not much customers the whole night...It was totally relaxing during our work time, we even had a long 40minutes break for our dinner...

We all were rather bored to the extend of playing pranks on each other, and I was fooled for several times...*Pouts...Firstly, it was by Cindy...Then by Zhiwei, telling to me to go get my double pay...Emily, (the cashier) and Ah bee also got me fooled by pouring away the glass of tequila neat...It was funny, one by another got pranked and everyone was laughing away...

Kelvin(ice cream), kept pestering me to teach him how to sing S.H.E's new song...I taught him a short verse a several times, but he still sang it wrongly...It really got me giggling hard, then he continued asking me about other songs which I could sing so that he could learn from me...It ws a long chat with the bartenders including Reni and Ah bee too...Totally hilarious, they're such fun people to get along with...

At the end of day, we've got our chance to drink a desired cocktail again...I chose Znap Haze(it was recommended by "Ice Cream" Kelvin *grins) which only came in a jug, Cindy, Leo and I shared it...In it, were lots and lots of cherries which the bartenders gave to me...Ah bee also gave me an extra glass of cherries to eat, and I really appreciated it...

I've really made quite a number of good pals at Zouk, and learnt a lot of things from there...I've also gained a job exprience again, but I'm leaving Zouk soon...As much as I cant bear to leave this place, I still had to quit...It's not that I did not liked the job, but I really do need a better full-time job and Laogong also did not want me to work there for good...I would definately miss all the peeps I've met in Zouk, I would also try to go back often to visit them...I would miss the great times I've shared with my friends at Zouk, it's one I'll never forget...

31December2005, Saturday (Last day of 2005)

Laogong and I were not able to celebrate this last day of 2005 together, our times are spent on working...Though, we did not get to count down together to 2006, we still smsed each other with loving greetings...

I worked at Zouk till 5am in the morning, it was rather tiring but all fun in the end...The crowd was overwhelming, not exactly what I had expected since x'mas had passed...Cindy and I had 3 to 4 aerosol spray foams with us, but did not get to finished them all during the countdown...Customers bugged us for orders, and payments while counting down, Cindy I attended to them quickly then ran out to join the others...It was crazy, customers also sprayed at staffs but as the crowd was huge we could'nt really run around much and, yes, we had lotsa glasses to clear after the fun...It was busy, busy, busy and busy the whole night...But then again, I still felt that we've all had a great time that night...

After the night had ended, and finally it was the first day of January 2006, we've also ended a day's work at Zouk...Happy new year to all...

29December2005, Thursday (2more days left to year 2006)

Yet another one of Laogong's off days...We both meet up as usual in the morning and then went to sleep immediately, as we've planned to go to Orchard to meet up with Kevin...I woke up first, then went down alone to Far east to get my hair done then Laogong came and meet me afterwards...

We did not have much time to go shop around, so Laogong and I had our dinner at Takashimaya's food court instead of wasting time on window-shopping then went to find Kevin...Laogong had a short chat with Kevin on his purchased policy, Kevin handed over a file to Laogong, then we rushed back to Jurong Point to catch "Narnia"...

Laogong and I managed to get into the cinema on time, with our all-time favourite nachos and cheesy-hotdogs then slouched into our seats to enjoy the movie..The movie lasted around 2hours, it was a good one...A rather nice movie with a nice plot, so nice that I kept telling Laogong, the movie was great even after we've finished watching...

We walked back to Laogong's house on foot, then after I washed off my make-up, Laogong and I went to sleep...We're always so exhausted, but I do enjoy Laogong's accompany and I knew he did, too...
