Happy 20th Birthday to MYSELF!! Weeees...

I woke up at around 10am, went to wash myself up then woke Laogong up as well...Laogong fetched me back home so I could bath and get changed into my dress, Laogong then went back to his house and prepared himself too...

Laogong came in a cab and fetched me up near my house, we went to Paragon straight away and were right on time for my make-over appointment, at Anna Sui's counter inside Metro...There were two ladies at the area and they immediately greeted me as I walked up, I told them that I was here for my appointment and they had me chose the stuffs I wanted and started the make-up on me pretty fast...I was delighted to be at Anna Sui's, and there are just too many stuffs which are enticing me...In the end, I chose a pearl luxury face powder and a blusher to be my birthday gift...Laogong was standing beside me the whole time looking at them applying the make-up for me, I chatted with the girls at Anna Sui's a little and one of them even praised Laogong for being a nice guy bringing me down there specially...The two working at the counter were pretty ladies, and though the one applying make-up for me was a little paranoid, I still ensured her that I'm fine with the end-results...

My make-up was done after a whole hour, and one of the girls lead Laogong to the cashier to pay for my stuffs, while I waited down there and the girl who had applied my make-up for me gave me freebies and the paper bags...I'm super-thrilled, cuz it's the very first time I've gotten so much Anna Sui's make-up and all of them were from Laogong!! I wish I could be like the ladies at Anna Sui, working there...*Lols...Laogong and I went off after that and on our way out, Laogong told me that the girl who had led him to the cashier earlier on, was surprised when she saw Laogong took out his gold card...Apparently, the girl had thought that Laogong was carrying a supplimentary card from his dad so Laogong told her it was a big NO, she kept telling Laogong that I looked liked a princess cuz my stuffs were all pink, blah blah...*Giggles...

A pity, that I had'nt asked for their names cuz they're both so nice and their services were not bad too...I guess I'll go back quite soon, hahahas...Who knows, perhaps I'll be working there too...*lols...

Laogong and I went to Cineleisure and had our late breakfast cum lunch at the newly opened, Hong Kong tea place...I'm not sure what's the name of it, but Laogong and I were both fulled after eating over there...We took a picture together at Hereen's and walked around a little, Laogong bought me nail polishes at Face Shop then we headed back to Jurong Point, our last programme was a singing session at the newly opened Party World in Taman Jurong...Just Laogong and I, we sanged lotsa duets and then Laogong surprised me with my birthday cake, it was a unique one...I made my wish and blew the lighted candles off, Laogong then surprised me with a another present...I had thought that Anna Sui's was already his gifts to me, but there was another one, and Laogong had really captured my heart...It was the red-earth triple deck make-up kit which I've told him quite some time ago...

I love my presents from Laogong!! Lotsa make-ups and it's the one I liked most of all my presents recieved from Laogong in the past years...Anna Sui was already expensive, cuz I did not knew that I had chosen a pearl powder which costed Laogong $95 alone, the blusher was $42 and those two were already quite expensive...I did not expect Laogong to be giving anymore presents, but it's just so sweet of him...*Pouts...I'm so happy and I swear, I'll be planning a really good birthday for him this year as well...Thanks Laogong !!

I'm gonna post up pictures as fast as possible if I could, cuz blogger sucks...I just cant seem to gget all my photos up at once...SO, please be patient people...*Winks

4:05 PM
This is one big big bird, I urm, suppose this is a ostrich...Could'nt recall what it is...Notice the small head and the big body? Lols, talk about porpotions...Look at this cute tortise, turtle, whatever it is...Laogong loves to see them swim around...
One of my most favourite pictures, the kangaroos were not really big in size but they just look cute, don't they?
Ta-dah!! The famous endangered spieces, al la White Tiger!! ^^ It kept pacing up and down when Laogong and I were busy trying to get a good pose of it...
Zebra-crossing, anyone? *giggles...A herd of them all...Just beautiful huh..

Late Posts...
Had not been in touch with the computer lately, busy celebrating my 20th birthday last week...I had a great time together with Laogong, and he even celebrated my 20th birthday for 2days...I'm so happy and appreciative of what Laogong has done for me, so now a re-cap of what happened during these past few days...

25July2006

Our first stop was, lunch at Pizza Hut's...Laogong sacrificed his sleeping time in exchange for a advance birthday celebration for me...It was really sweet of him to do so, Laogong and I had a full lunch at Pizza hut's then we went to take the mrt to Pasir Ris...

Laogong took a leave for this day, hoping to bring me down to Escape Theme Park...To our dismay, the freaking park was closed and it only opens on Saturdays and Sundays, what the hell is wrong with the management?? Weekdays not open, only on weekends and holidays then it's opened...Weekdays got ghost huh?? Cannot open meh??? ARgh, so then Laogong and I wasted 1hour's time travelling on the mrt to that stupid theme park, and ended up having sour grapes for nothing...Laogong and I decided to go to the ZOO! *Giggles, it was actually what I've suggested to Laogong before but he wanted to bring me down to Escape more...

We took a cab down to the Singapore Zoological Gardens, and Laogong had to fork out another 16 bucks for travelling there, after wasting our fares on the mrt to Pasir Ris...No choice, blame it on the freaking theme park...*shrugs...Our trip to the Zoo, was a enjoyable one...Laogong and I arrived there late, or else we would have been able to tour around much more...Laogong and I had no cameras so we used our handphones to take pictures of the animals, tons of pictures were taken and most of them were just so adorable...I will only upload some of the photos cuz there's just too much to be posted, and trust me, you're gonna scroll on and on for quite some time if you wanna take a good look at these photos...SO, to prevent that, I'll only choose some of my favourites to be posted...

Damn, the whole Zoo was a big place, Laogong and I were constantly looking at the map which we're given upon entry and it's just like one huge maze...The both of us kept walking around on foot, and our feets got really tired at the end of the whole trip...Laogong was marvelled quite a little on the changes to the whole place, he had thought that the Zoo was actually a boring place to go to but after this trip, Laogong had a different mindset...It's also the first time Laogong and I had gone to a Zoo, and all I could say is that I've really enjoyed this fruitful trip together with my beloved...It was already 7pm when Laogong and I finally made our way out of the Zoo, we went down to the Night Safari for a peek then took the bus 972 back to Lot1 where we had our dinner settled at Ajisen's...

Laogong and I got home around 9plus in the night, it was before long that he went into a deep slumber with me by his side...

Updates...

I'm loafing around a lot lately, I know it's kinda bad to just slack at home and do nothing because I should be getting a decent job and earning $$ for myself and stuffs...*shrugs...The problem is, I ain't got no idea of what job I really wanna undertake at all! I'm like nowhere in the middle of somewhere, totally confused of which route to take...Argh, oh well, let's just wait till my birthday's over and then I"ll give my career life a thorough thought...

Nothing much happened recently, Laogong and I went to watch "Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest" last friday and guess what? The whole freaking cinema was full! On a friday, midnight session and the whole place's filled with people, call me a mountain-tortise if you must, but I've not seen this kinda crowd before in Jurong Point's cinema on a friday night...Oh anyway, whatever...

Kudos! To the producers and crews and animators and actors and blah, blah, blah whatever people there are invovled in the movie production...The first one was already a good film to boot, now the second one is even worth watching...Hilarious absolutely, and I just love Johnny Depp's blury-style of acting...Kiera's still as pretty as ever and Orlando's much clever in this part two movie...I'm remincsing the funny parts of movie till now, could'nt get enough of it and I hope for a third one to come...=))

Just yesterday, 21July, Laogong and I met up with Rennis and Emeleen at Jurong Point for my pre-birthday celebration...My present was a lovely, white-colored lacey handbag from Rennis and Emeleen, thanks guys!!

The four of us, ended up having our dinner at Swensen's cuz they wanted me to make the choice, and I totally regretted it...Man, the whole thing just sucked! Service is like shit, and the food is even worst! I had thought that the ice-creams would be able to compensate for the lousy service and food, but the ice cream tasted just as bad...Well, not at all really bad but upon continuous eating, you'll just find the taste getting more and more yucky...And did I mentioned what we ate? YA, Laogong and I both ordered lamb-chops and then followed by a apple-crumble...We both recieved two freaking, pathetic pieces of small lamb chops each and speak of the meat, what Laogong and I got were tons of flabs!! YUCKS! %$#@$&% I ordered a minestrone soup and it's like totally tasteless, what the hell did the crew do to the soup?? It's freaking diluted and there even noodles in the soup...WTF...Laogong and I were not even full upon finishing the whole course!

All four of us, regretted having our dinner at Swensen's...I swear, I'm not gonna step into Swensen's again!! Pizza Hut's even better, compared to them...I seriously wonder why are there still so many people, who chose to go to Swensen's...*DUH...Luckily, Laogong was still able to get a 10%discount, thanks to his HSBC gold card, or else paying the full sum would be deemed so unreasonable...

Anyway, after our dinner, Laogong and I parted with Rennis and Emeleen...Laogong and I went to catch another movie, "Mortuary"...Go for this movie, if you're in for scares but don't watch it if you're not into the old-fashioned, horror-flick plotting...It's about a family moving into a house which was intitially inhibited by a family who does mortuary for business, lotsa tombs surrounding the whole place...The family gets into trouble later on with the corpses living among them, blah, blah, blah...Really old-fashioned...Good for couples to watch together, cuz when Laogong and I watched it, all of the people there watching were couples too...Boyfriends out there, kindly bring your girlfriends to watch lah, if you want to get something out of it...*Giggles...Or else, don't even think about it...

P.S: Counting down 4more days to my birthday!! 26July2006...=)) Laogong's gonna bring me to the ZOO!! lols...Alas, a different kinda birthday celebration...Animals are gonna share the joy with me...hahahahs...Hmmm, or perhaps chalet?? Change of plans...hmmm, either is fine! lols, I'm just thrilled...

12July2006, Wednesday

Laogong and I went to Alexander Hospital today, to visit my brother, Kelvin...Kelvin's been down with the chicken pox for more then a week now, and he's still gotta live in the hospital till this Saturday...

When Laogong and I went into Kelvin's room, the television was on but he was asleep...I woke Kelvin up and told him that we've come to visit him and brought the PSP for him to play with, Laogong spoke to him as well but his response was retarded...I'm was a little relieved when I see my own brother's condition getting better, cuz the chicken pox on his face has dried up...

Kelvin still feels weak though, his breakfast was even left untouched and he had'nt took his medicine...Laogong and I left shortly, so my brother could rest more...Laogong and I, then went to IKEA and ate our breakfast at Burger King's...The food Laogong and I had ordered, were'nt exactly what we've expected, *yucky...Laogong and I went to IKEA to shop around after the blant breakfast, we looked at the showrooms as furnished by IKEA...Laogong and I even, discussed about what we would want in the future in our cosy home...

Laogong bought a Queen sized quilt and it's cover set for our new bed in his room, a alarm clock in total...Reason why Laogong had wanted to purchase the quilt, was because he wanted the "feel" of sleeping on a hotel bed, super comfy and cool enough to cover with, whilst sleeping...The quilt Laogong and I chose were suitable for the hot climate in Singapore, and because Laogong's old blankets were single-sized, the queen-sized quilt can covered both of us now...It was rather cheap for a quilt price, I think cuz it costed only $35 and is of good quality...

Laogong and I chose a black and white swirl patterned quilt and pillow cover set, after browsing through all the designs...It costed $29, I think, perhaps cheap too cuz I don't see John Little selling such stuffs at this cost...Or maybe there is? *Shrugs, nevermind that...Laogong and I can now share the same quilt and not fight for covering when we're cold, plus it's sooo comfy that it makes you wanna fall asleep as soon as possible...

Laogong told me the next time round, he's gonna buy a new queen-sized mattress cuz we're sleeping on 2combined single-sized mattresses...Laogong, even mentioned that he's gonna buy the mattress pad too, and add it onto the new mattress so the whole "feel" would be more "hotelish"...*Pouts...I just love my silly Laogong...hahas...

10July2006, Monday

Laogong came to my house in the morning to look for me, then after send me to meet Ping before going off...

Ping and I took the mrt to Somerset and managed to reach Cineleisure quite early, most of the shops were still closed so Ping and I just went to "More than Words" and the arcade for a peek...We stood outside Suki Sushi for sometime and waited for it's opening, we're the first customers of the day...

Ping and I wasted no time after going in, Ping ordered our favourite salmon sashimi and we both shared the peas...We also had the fried fishes, I forget the name for it already...Ping also let me tasted the baked oysters for the first time, I thought it would be tastier because it's baked with cheese but I ended up feeling yucky...Laogong doesnt likes oysters since he's had one, now I understand why he does'nt likes them...Poor Ping had to finish the remaining 3oysters cuz I only ate one, and I told her it's not to my liking at all...

Ping and I ate around 10 or more plates of the foods there, then we're declared full...From there, we chatted a lot about how big our appetites had used to be and then we chatted about our memories during secondary school times, and had lotsa laughters...After an hour plus, we decided to go off from there and went window-shopping...

Ping and I went around Orchard, hunting for the sling bag she wanted to buy but to no avail...Orhard, nowadays so boring...Nothing excites Ping and me at all, but Ping managed to buy something to her liking at last...We went to TinkerBell at Far East, and Ping bought a pair of black flats from there plus there was a 10%discount, so Ping had bought the pair of flats for only $19.70...I kinda fancied the green colored pair but did not buy it...

Ping and I went to take the mrt back to Jurong Point soon after, cuz she had to rush for work again...I went back to Laogong's house and helped his mummy with the cooking...

09July2006, Sunday
Ping and I will be meeting each other tomorro, for my pre-birthday celebration...I'm so elated, and looking forward to the meeting tomorro...We've decided to go for the sushi buffet at Suki Sushi branch in Orchard, *giggles...Ping and I both just love to eat sashimi(s), pure meat lovers...Wahahaha, I guess we'll be enjoying the meal tomorro very much and eat to a full full stomach...

Ping kept asking me what I wish for as a present, but I just have no idea so I told her anything will do, as long as it's from her...Ping told me that, she had actually wanted to buy Anna Sui cosmetics for me but had no idea of which product, to buy for me...Ping and I chatted and laughed on the phone, then we discussed about what we should wear tomorro...

I just cant wait for tomorro to come!! ^^Will update again on the outing tomorro, as for pictures still gotta wait for sometime, no card reader to do the stuffs...Tata...

Laogong's off day!! We went to Jurong Point to exchange for our free tixs to Scary Movie then after had a good lunch at Pizza Hut's...I had beef lasagne while Laogong chose baked chicken royale pasta, and we also had a curry zazzle baked rice for take-away...*Lols...We ended up being so full after eating all the food...

Laogong and I went back to his house shortly then we both fell asleep, and only woke up at around 7pm...Laogong and I got ready then took a bus down to Jurong Point to take our dinner, Laogong brought me to Siam's kitchen and we pineapple rice with green curry chicken(my favourite!!), kang kong with bean paste, fish maw soup for Laogong and tom yum soup for me...Though, the dishes were'nt many, but still Laogong and I had a very full meal...Laogong's tom yum soup tasted better than my tom yum soup, not that the tom yum soup is'nt tasty enough but it's not the usual type I like..

Laogong used his HSBC credit card to pay for the meal at Siam's cuz 15% off the whole bill, will be entitled if he used it and you know what? If you use NETS, there's even a 10%discount!! Cool...First time, I've heard of it...hahahs...Laogong and I went to the arcade after that, and he played the basketball game for two rounds before we finally went to catch the movie...

The whole Scary movie was as expected, crappy and funny...It was a short movie, with all the crazy aliens tri-pod invasion stuffs, Laogong and I had our laughs though it was not a good movie...We went back to the arcade and played some games for awhile before heading home for a good night's sleep...

Ohhh, ya before I forget...My brother has fallen ill, I've bought food for him to eat but he only had a few bites...Now he's warded due to Chicken pox, I hope he'll get well as soon as possible...

06July2006, Thursday

Ah ger and Jieyi came to my house and we all painted our nails pretty using my tools and stuffs...Ah ger painted Jieyi's nails red and black with lotsa polka dots using toothpicks while I used my own nail-art paint brush, and painted motifs onto my toe nails one by one...It was quite tiring, having to keep focus and my hand has to steady enough to continue the painting...Ah ger, on the other hand seemed to have pretty much fun doing Jieyi's nails for her...

Now, my nails and toe nails are pretty and worth showing off so are Jieyi's...*Giggles...I think I'll post up pictures of my nails and toe nails pretty soon, and I've even decided to give the design for my toe nails a name called, "Oriental Beauty"...Wahahahas...Jieyi's nails could be called, "Retro Savvy" if she likes to...I'll see if I could get the pictures of Jieyi's nails from Ah ger or her, then post it inside my bloggie soon...

It was a nice all-girls gathering, Ah ger and Jieyi went back to Ah ger's place at around 3am and so I am here now, to blog...

I just love the look of my nails and toe nails now and I guess, I should praise myself for being an expertise at nails...hahas...Love it!!

Tomorro is Friday, Laogong's off day again!! Woos...I hope Laogong would be able to bring me out, and we'll get to catch a movie free with our free passes!! I miss Laogong so much...Hmm, I wonder what I should wear tomorro, *Shrugs...

My birthday is coming soon!!! Time really flies, at a wink of an eye it's July already!! Which means that, July the 26th is nearing too!! My 20th birthday to come, should I be glad or sad? Glad, because I knew Laogong, my closest sister plus Rennis and Emeleen would definately celebrate this joyous occasion together with me...Sad, because I'll be turning 20years old soon and that means a year older and I'm a young adult...

I kept pestering Laogong and asking him where would he bring me to on the 26th but Laogong kept his mouth shut real tight but apart from that, I would be going to Anna Sui's for a makeover first...All thanks to Laogong, his "UOB" Metro credit card has given him lotsa vouchers and yes, one of them was from Anna Sui...I'm just so thrilled and looking forward to the makeover session this 26th July, then I would'nt have to spent hours time at time at home, dolling up myself...Someone would do the job for me!! *giggles...

I would, of course get to choose one from all of the Anna Sui's products as present from Laogong cuz it's supposed to come together with the makeover as stated inside the voucher...

Before that, I suppose that I'll be meeting up with Ping first for a pre-celebration cuz she smsed me yesterday...I'm just so happy!! I'm still wondering where would Laogong bring me to for my birthday celebration...^^

My birthday wishes for 26th July 2006:

1. To have an enjoyable birthday with my beloved Laogong!

2. To be able to have a pre-celebration for my birthday with Ping...

3. Meet up with Rennis and Emeleen for a couple outing cum my pre-birthday celebration...

4. Go for my Anna Sui makeover!!

5. I wanna get that "BEBE" top!! Owwww...

6. A lovely small birthday cake...

7. Lasting relationship to marriage with Laogong...

8. I wish to get a secure job soon

9. The polo rauh lauren prefume, soo sweet you can smell it miles away!!

10. Guess? handbag...

hahahas...So now, ur hmmm...Laogong, you know what to do hor...^^

9:42 PM

05July2006, Tuesday
Met up with Laogong in the morning as usual, accompanied him till he fell asleep...Laogong knew I was going to meet up with Ah ger for sushi buffet in the late afternoon so he passed me some money before kissing me and going to sleep...

3pm, met up with Ah ger on the bus, went to Boon Lay's new bus interchange and waited for Jeiyi together...After that, we went to Sakae's at the new community center opposite Jurong Point for our sushi buffet!! *giggles...

The 3of us ate for a full hour plus or so, and our stomachs were so bloated that we laughed at each other while making our way down to Jurong Point...I got to eat my favourite salmon sushi but ended up not finishing the rice though, and got to eat my favourite "edamame" (green peas, I suppose?)...I kinda forgotten the spelling for that, never mind that...Oh ya, and I got to sip on my favourite soup of all times, "Miso Soup"!!! I had 3bowls at a go, can you believe it? hahaas...I just love the taste of miso soup, I'm gonna have if not for my small stomach...

I just cant wait to go for another sushi session!! The next time round, I wanna go "Suki Sushi" instead!!

I accompanied Ah ger around Jurong Point a little while more, Jieyi had to make a move first as she had to go for an interview appointment...Later on, Ah ger and I both bought faux eyelashes and eyebrown pencils...It was near 7pm when we finally made our way to the new bus stop in front of Jurong Point, Ah ger and I both took the same bus and I alighted at the first stop...I went to the bus stop which Laogong always waited for his company bus, then see Laogong off in his company bus...

30June2006, Friday
Laogong's off day! *Weeeee...We both spent half the morning moving the bed frame from Ah ger's house back to Laogong's house...Damn, our shoulders and all are suffering from aches now but I think, it's pretty worth the trip...Laogong and I took 2trips, to and fro from Ah ger's place back to his house then did we had the whole bed frame in parts, all at Laogong's house...The fixing part was quite easy, so Laogong and I got the thingy up in less than 45minutes...

Finally, we got to rest at 2plus in the afternoon then Laogong and I went to Jurong Point to have our lunch and buy our movie tickets...Ate at Long John Slivers then bought the movie tickets to The-Recycle...The movie produced by "Pang Brothers" must be impressive plus the lead actor, "Li SinJie" even more enticing right? YA, and so we thought likewise...

Went back to Laogong's house, he went to sleep and I went to meet up with my brother...Passed some stuffs to my brother and chatted with him for a good hour or so before going back to Laogong's house again...*Shrugs...I'm gonna miss my brother...

Laogong slept like a pig when I've reached home, doodled with my laptop, tapped a unknown person's wireless network and used the internet for FREE...*Lols...Actually did nothing much too, helped Laogong's mummy with some cooking then it's nightfall already...Bathed and dolled up myself then woke Laogong up to go for dinner together before catching the movie...

The movie in all, was not really what Laogong and I've expected...Though it's scary and the plot of the movie is fantastic, imaginative and all, the storyline kinda sucked...I guess the "Pang Brothers" were trying to deliver some message across to the viewers, like not abandoning your love ones and stuffs...The ending just did'nt matched the movie in the first place but the settings of the whole movie and stuffs they've created were really quite impressive...On the whole, still worth your penny to watch out for those special effects settings...Horror fans wise, be prepared to be disappointed cuz it's not the usual flick that "Li Sinjie" acts in...
