Bought a few stuffs from my favorite store "Daiso" at IMM sometime ago with Laogong...Must-go place whenever we're at IMM!!!
I guess that's the thing with us, girls...Don't you agree?? *Giggles
And ohh...Went into JB with Laogong and my brother during one of the weekends for petrol, bike repairs and food~
3 October 2008, Friday (Happy Birthday to my Precious!!!)
Headed back to Laogong's place after everything was done to make that night a perfect and memorable one for him...Rested for a short while at Laogong's place upon reaching while he prepared himself...
Helped Laogong to style his hair and we're ready to move off!!
Hailed for a cab under Laogong's place cuz I forbade him from riding his mistress out...I wanted to give Laogong a surprise as to where I would be bringing him for dinner but he just kept bugging me for the location...Even though I've not revealed anything to Laogong...*Giggles
I kept mum until we got onto a cab and Laogong only knew of the place when I told the cab driver...Laogong still had no idea where the place was and I teased him about it...*LOL
Arrived at this secret hide-out "Cassis", 7pm sharp! Just in time for my reservation! =D
Laogong was totally surprised when he arrived and I'm just glad that he liked what I've arranged for him...
"Cassis" is a hidden gem away from the hustles and bustles and serves fine French cuisine amongst wine and desserts...Both Laogong and I were really impressed by the services rendered and food was definitely good!
Ambience wise, definitely a good place for romantic dates! Well that is part of the reason for celebrating Laogong's birthday at "Cassis"!! =D
We had a big place all to ourselves and Laogong actually felt weird cuz he's not used to it...Even kept asking me why isn't there anyone sitting around us? *Giggles
Laogong told me he feels as though we're eating in a restaurant that's been fully booked by us...That's why we're the only ones dinning there...*Lol
We're served with bread and garlic spread and sparkling water upon sitting down...The garlic spread's really yummy and Laogong just loves it sooo much that he kept having another serving of bread...
Laogong and I settled for recommendations from the waitress when we couldn't decide which to order...Two-thumbs up for the prompt and detailed service!!
Our favorite drink! =D
Laogong, did you felt "special" like this? =P
Chairs all blocking sooo can't see and the tent area's sunken as well...

Home-made smoked salmon which screams EXTREME GOODNESS!!!
Laogong predicted and sorta expected it but he was still very happy and even a lil' embarrassed when the staffs (came in a small group) approached and sang "Happy Birthday to you...Happy birthday to Mr Precious...Happy...Birthday to you~" for him...
"Mr Precious" was lifted from what I had on the cake for Laogong...The cute staffs didn't knew Laogong's name, hence, "Mr Precious"!! *Chuckles
I was just sooo glad when I saw Laogong's expression cuz I knew he had really enjoyed himself!
Delicious food, wonderful services and lovely ambience had our night painted sooo beautifully~ Who could have thought such lil' amount of food can actually fill up our hungry stomachs! =D
On top of that, we're were served desserts by the kind waitress (this waitress actually served us throughout the entire dinner!! Very attentive and prompt!!!) whom told us it was complimentary on the head chef's behalf!!!! Both Laogong and I really, really, really appreciated the small gesture!!! =D
This time round, I really got Laogong surprised!!!! And, of course I would like to thank the waitress for helping me out! I forgotten to ask for her name sooo I guess I'm just thank her on my blog~ =D
Open-concept allowing all diners a full-view of what's cooking hot!! =D
Anyway both Laogong and I had really enjoyed this lovely night and if hadn't for "Cassis" top quality services, this night would never be sooo good~
Annie and I sang the birthday song for him and we took some photos too!
Headed down to JP after the cakes to catch our late-night matinee!!!
By the way, the top and bottom was what I bought from 77th Street (as mentioned in previous post)...
All in all, it is a movie worthy of your pennies!!
4 October 2008, Saturday
Met up with Rennis and Emeleen at Holland Village for Laogong's belated-birthday celebration...We dined at "Sushi Tei" (second floor) and ordered lots of delicious food!!!
However "Sushi Tei" in Holland Village doesn't seems to be cooking this fine lor...
Scallops sooo hard when I bite!!! A lil disappointed~
Ohh!! I must say this as well!!! I totally hated it when we went up to the second floor, the way one of the staffs told us "Hello! Put your shoes there (meaning; on the rack)"...Like what the hell??? We're customers, is this the manner in which all "Sushi Tei" staffs all talk in???
Luckily I was in good mood and I didn't wanted to spoilt the night sooo I just let the matter rest...Well we didn't just encountered this!! I accidentally spilled my can of coke while pouring it into the glass sooo I asked the staff (a guy) to clean it up, his attitude sucks too!!! He wiped off the spilled coke with a very irritated face and placed back everything on the table sooo LOUDLY after wiping off the coke which includes my glass!!!
Really irritating!!! I did not do it on purpose and does he has to give me such services?? Never mind about that cuz I, myself ain't that good as well...And sooo, I let the matter rest too~ *Duh
I realised every staffs at this particular branch, has the same lousy attitude but the whole restaurant's still very crowded~ (-.-)
If not for the food, seriously I don't think there would be much patrons at all...Given such lousy services!!
I definitely wouldn't wanna go back to that branch again..."Sushi Tei" at Vivo/ Paragon's way better!!
Anyway cast that aside...We all went for some ice creams at "Haagen Dazs" after the "UNPLEASANT" dinner...
Laogong and I shared 3 scoops urm, or rather I had just the raspberry sorbet (the one in dark pink) and Laogong finished the rest cuz I find the other two, too sweet...
