18 July 2008, FridayHad a great day spent together with Laogong! Our first stop was down to JP where Laogong bought the pair of sunshades (that I've fancy) from 77th Street, thereafter we headed down to FEP for some shopping~
Noticed more and more girls on the streets wearing the "gladiator sandals" and I managed to find the heels type for myself at FEP...Needless to say, I bought it without second thoughts... =D
Later in the night, Laogong brought me down to Geylang to meet up with his colleagues for "frog-leg congee" as late dinner...No photos for that though cuz it's weird for me to snap away happily when they wanna enjoy the food...
Laogong send me back home after the late dinner, where I got changed into another set of clothes, to join my brother and Laogong for going into JB, to top up their bike's petrol...
Unfortunately, I couldn't join them cuz my passport expired...Waited patiently back at Laogong's home for them to go and come back...Luckily, I had Laogong's mummy and sister kept me accompanied till Laogong gets back...

I forgotten to take a photo of my gladiator heels but the picture below is what I've bought...By the way, it's brown one that I got! Or rather, camel brown~Trend's sooo slow but it's great that these are in SG now...

Snapped a photo of Laogong's and brother's bike before they set off to JB...
It took them approximately an hour plus to and fro...Laogong gave me a call the moment he was back in SG and asked me to wait for him to come back and fetch me out for supper...My brother joined us too and led us to the prata shop at Clementi for our supper...Laogong and I had pratas while my brother had a large serving of nasi goreng...Packed some food for my dad and Laogong's family after our supper and we headed back home...

Went down to BBDC together with Laogong for our driving lessons and also my FTT (Final Theory Test)...
Was supposed to go for my FT practice at around 11plus am but I gave it a miss because Laogong and I had a small arguement...We went for car lessons at 12.20pm and it sure felt good for me!!!!!! *Giggles...
My driving skills are getter finer and finer during each lesson...This time round, I was praised "Good" by my instructor and he's a humorous guy! He even said "I like it" (meaning he liked my driving-skills performance) cuz I was one of the few, whom he said could do what he has taught and improved in a short amount of time...
The instructor had me drive on the road and guided me along the way, he spoke to me most of the time, sometimes making me laugh and kept on encouraging me as well...*Chuckles...
I was pretty glad to have him teach me...Managed to learn more and even honed my skills too! A pity that I couldn't go for more lessons per week when my instructor wanted me to...I need to work and accompany my Laogong... =D
The instructor was very understanding when I told him about my reasons for not being able to come regularly...However, he still hope for me to attend more lessons regularly sooo as to improve further and not forget about the previous stuffs I've learnt...

Laogong headed back home after our driving lessons while I went for 2 FT practices and then FTT on the second floor...By then, Laogong was back at BBDC and he waited for me outside the TP test room...
I PASSED MY FTT AT ONE STRAIGHT SHOT!!!!!!!!!!!
Couldn't help but kept on smiling when I saw "PASS" on the computer screen and I'm sooo darn proud of myself!!!!! Even Laogong was too!!!!!! Cuz I was the very first person to walk out of the room!!!!!!!!!!! *LOLS
Laogong gave me a big big hug and kiss upon hearing the good news! I felt sooo accomplished for that day~ =)
We went down to JP after that and I bought some necessities from "John Little" with the 20 bucks voucher from my brother...
Gatsby spray's for Laogong...The rest are mine~ =p
Laogong and I caught "The Dark Knight" at JP too...We both enjoyed this movie sooo much! The characters in this particular movie were sooo darn good!!!!! Kudos to all of them, especially the "Joker"!!!!I personally felt, this time round Batman has been brought down by the Joker~ The late Heath Ledger did a fantastic job by portraying Joker in a different cynical and sinister way from his usual self in all of the previous Batman movies, cartoons and even comics, I would say!
Definitely thumbs up for this Joker; Heath Ledger!!!
This movie's one of a kind~ A totally different one as from the usual super-heroes flicks...Every character gets to stand out and perform their utmost and seemed more recognizable...
This goes to show that not only the super-hero stands out from the crowd but also gives a chance to the other actors which may seem insignificant too...
Christian Bale's hunky voice has gotten into my head and I can't forget about him~ *Drools...

And, did I mentioned that the vehicles Batman owns in the movie are fabulously COOL!!!!!!!! Plus, these babies are all sleek, expensive and sooo not subtle which are too fast and furious!!!!!Dark Knight's computerized car which could turn into a motor-bike...

Heath Ledger, though gone, has left a deep impression in all who've watched this great flim...I was totally awed and taken aback by his superb acting skills! Most would have never expected Joker to be this good and I mean, REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD!! I say Heath Ledger deserves an "Oscar" award!It's a pity, very big pity that Heath Ledger left this world at the young and booming age of 28...His death shocked most, I presumed...Really sucha pity~
Had Heath Ledger known that his acting skills had actually took all of the audiences from over the world by surprise, he would have been sooo happy and proud of himself too...Don't you think so?
The Dark Knight is Heath's last and final...

Met up with Pristal dear after my work at Bugis...We bought ourselves "Tori Q" and some other junk foods for dinner and before settling down for dinner, Pristal brought me down to OG's tibits section where I bought tons of Japanese tibits~ =)
I just go ga-ga over Japanese tibits!!!
We headed back to Bugis Junction after getting all those sweet candies and biscuits...Settled ourselves down by the fountain and enjoyed our foods...Headed back home together via train after much chatting and gossippings...
