Continue...from 11 July 2007, Wednesday Trip...
Supposed to be waking up at 9am, but overslept and only managed to wake up at 10.30am...Got myself dolled up and then went to meet Laogong...We then bought "Subway coldcut" for takeaways, shared the foot long sandwich together, back at Laogong's house...
Did a few more touching up on my make-up after the food, went off from Laogong's place to meet Ah ger after everything's done...

Ah ger and I went down to Jurong East Mrt, and waited for her niece "Kar Yan" and Jieyi to come meet us as well...Nearly was an hour, when we all managed to meet up...Got down to Bugis via the train straight away...

All of us decided to get a mini cake for Serene upon reaching Bugis, and in the end bought a mango flavored one...Headed to "Kinokuniya" after, where I bumped into Esther and her boyfriend...Chatted with her a short while, then went inside "Kinokuniya" to get my regular dosage of magazines...[[It was really nice bumping into Esther, been sooo long since I've last saw her already...Still as pretty as ever and getting more radiant-looking with all the love showered by her guy...=)) I can't wait till my birthday where we could catch up and chat even more!! ]]
All of us went over to the steamboat restaurant after getting my magazines, hand over the mini cake to one of the staffs there and then went over to Bugis Street...Jieyi and I hunted around for a present to get for Serene, while Kar Yan accompanied Ah ger, to get the transparent bag she wanted...
Someone called my name suddenly, while we're leaving Bugis Street...Turned my head to see Shui Yu standing outside the one of the "Zinc" bags shop...Was happy to see Shui Yu, had a short chat with her too then left with the girls...

Seems like everyone around me, is getting prettier day by day...How nice, cuz I seem to be gaining more fats!! Argh!!!! Hate it...I wanna be pretty like the girls...=))
Finally, we all got what we wanted...Serene had already arrived at Bugis...Met up with her and then popped into "Topshop" for a look...I saw this really lovely tank top on a mannequin, and began searching the whole place for that top...To my dismay, what the mannequin was wearing, was the only piece of size "S" left in store, after asking one of the staffs...
The staff took off the only piece and handed to me, Ah ger urged me to try it on...It was too big for me by the sides, everything could be seen clearly...*Shrugs...I really liked the tank top sooo much!!!!!! Any idea, which "Topshop" still sells it??

All of us got outta "Topshop" and decided to go down to the steamboat restaurant...It was already 5plus in the evening, we're all famished...
The 5 of us paid at the cashier first, and were handed our chopsticks...Climbed the stairs and got to the second floor, where there's air-conditioning...Ooh, by the way it's "ChongQing" steamboat we're having which means we have a choice of two different soup bases in one...=))
We had a choice of like 4 or 5 different types of soup base to choose from, and chose a side of non-spicy and the other a spicy...Ah ger, Kar Yan and Jieyi took the non-spicy side, while Serene and I took the spicy side...*Yummy!!!
All of us gave Serene her presents after that, and she's sooo happy to receive it...=))

"Chong Qing" steamboat...I'm still coughing and not getting any better...Told the girls, I'll probably go voiceless after the steamboat...*Lols...
We went to take all the steamboat food, and dump, dump, dump everything in...*Giggles...Lalalaala~ I love steamboat~
The food were very fresh, and nice...*Yummy, yummy!!
Jieyi had 3 or 4 serving of the egg noodles, Ah ger and Kar Yan preferred "Tang Hoon" (transparent noodles)...Serene and me?? Both of us are "MAGGIE" lovers!! *Giggles...
I swear all of us, are busying cooking and eating our food sooo much...Famished stomaches, were all filled up in the end...Became super-full stomaches, and I drank lotsa soups!!
Wasted some foods as well, but it's just very lil'...Jieyi also threw some of the pig's intestines away after realising she got the wrong meats...*Lols..
The maggie mee Serene and I had, were sooo delicious~ *Slurp!!! Our first round of steamboat soups were finished up quite fast, had one of the staffs top up our soups...It ain't the original soups anymore, after adding on...We had to add on soy sauce, to make it taste better cuz its totally bland...
Serene and Kar Yan made their way down to 7-11 halfway, to get drinks cuz the restaurant sells it more expensive...*Lols...Extreme measures to save $$...Ah ger, Jieyi told the staffs to keep on adding scoops of red chilli oil, while I was away to take more food...
(-.-")Ended up having red chilli oil soup...It's not even hot!! *Yucks...Serene and Kar Yan got back, after I've "filtered" the soup...=)) Just in time, for more cooking and eating!! It was like 2hours plus of eating, that all of us finally surrendered...
Kar Yan took watermelons for us, but I passed on that...Too full to eat already...
What happens after the steamboat is this:A messy table full of soiled tissue papers, plus bowls and plus...Food leftovers, unfinished...Couldn't be able to finish...It's ugly-looking, hahahas...
I approached one of the staffs, and then asked her to help me bring out the mini cake...Instructed the staff to light up the candle available inside, and bring it to Serene...The staff nodded and seemed to understand me, but she did not do as what I've said...(-.-")Just bought the cake straight to our table and that's it...*Alamak! Nevermind...Serene saw the thing already, but it was only the bag...I took it to another side, and borrow the lighter from the staff...
Finally, lighted the candle and had the mini cake presented to Serene...Could see Serene smiling very happily, and all of us sang a birthday song for her...

It was cake-time for Serene after, and she let us all, had a lil' spoonful of her mini cake too...It's not too creamy with vanilla nor too chocolatey, nor too fruity...

All of us, send Kar Yan back to "Woodlands Mrt" and then headed back from there to our own places finally...Was a tiring day, but totally fun!!
Would't forget all the lame jokes and stuffs we did on the train, all the laughters that echoed through the entire train...=D
