03 July 2007, TuesdayLaogong and I have been discussing bout' the celebration ideas, for my upcoming 21st birthday...Decided that a chalet will be held, with a mini barbeque cum buffet style celebration...
However, upon checking out all the chalets and amenities available in Singapore...Laogong and I realised, it's pretty hard trying to get everything, organized in the way we want it to be...
Like deciding on the food, how many we should buy or order from caterers...Laogong's main concern, mostly on whether the food will be wasted or maybe worst, not enough...I reckoned it'll be solved pretty easily...
On the other hand, the location of chalet...Ahh~ A major problem...Laogong and I have already done our researches, on all of the amenities and facilities the chalets has...Came to a final choice - Coasta Sands (Pasir Ris), but then withdrawn the idea...No BBQ pit's available!!!! (-.-") We're supposed to rent our own "portable" BBQ pit at $16 a day (make it half a day since the thingy starts around evening), from the nearby caterer!! How in the hell, is there not a BBQ pit for the tenants who rents the place?? It sucks...
Sooo, then Laogong and I thought of getting a chalet from "Aloha Changi"...Again, we pondered...The location wise, far to difficult and time consuming for most of my friends (who will be coming from the west)...Transport's a problem too...*Shrugs...
Then, there is the Coasta Sands (Sentosa)...I pretty much prefer that choice, but ain't too sure whether it's a good choice to choose that place...Sure it's easy for most of my friends to come to, cuz it's "Sentosa"...Everybody knows how to get to the place, but the accommodation not really ideal nuff' to squeeze everyone in...(-.-")
Last but not least, there's always the infamous Coasta Sands (Downtown East)...This option is pretty much left out by Laogong and me...Reason?? This place too small, and very boring...Almost everyone goes to Downtown East, ain't it too boring? Sure, the amenities and facilities are great but it's just no difference from the rest, if I wanna hold my birthday party there...
Can't I just get to have a special day, with good settings and all for my birthday? *Frowns...
Sooo, I've come up with this small polling system...Why don't you guys, give me some ideas??? Help me out!! =)) Choose your preferred choice, be it based on the amenities and facilities or based on the convenience wise problem...Your choice made will be deeply appreciated!!! Most of my friends, whom you know I'll definitely invite, do this poll for me too!!! Cuz this involves you!! C'mon on, do this simple poll and then I'll be saved from all the hassles of thinking bout' a good location...
The choice made with highest poll, will be given serious consideration...Eventually, may be the location to hold my birthday party...=)) Thanks sooooo much, in advance !!!!
