I did not went for the interview as arranged by that recruitment agency that called me, simply because I'm worn out...I couldn't even wake up when Laogong came to my house this morning, I'm more like a dead log...
Laogong called and smsed me numerous times while I was sleeping like a pig...*Oinkss...Blur Laogong left his wallet at his company and had called to try informing/waking me up, but I just cant be awaken...Laogong came to my house and attempted to wake me up, nonetheless he failed and sooo had to go back to his company alone to retrieve his wallet...
It was around 12noon when Laogong came back to my house again, and finally got me to get outta my bed...My head felt giddy and I could hardly stand properly, Laogong had to hold on to me and made me go wash my face...
All the while, I was feeling groggy but after a bath, I managed to regain a lil' bit of my senses...Then Laogong and I went down to JP, I got us both food from "Subway" while Laogong went to pay for his bills...Straight off to his place once everything was done...
Laogong and I shared a "foot long's cold cut sub" and then after we went to sleep...Again, I woke Laogong up in the evening and then off he went to work while I headed back home...
Here's a lil' something to share with all my readers...
Back at home, I found stuffs which had me intrigued...Well, I've always liked this kinda stuffs since seeing it few years back, but didn't really got into the researching of it...People who does this, has my admiration cuz I, myself didn't dare try such stuffs...Urm, and it's actually something that has been going on in Japan and in here (SG), for a long time...
It's the "Lolita" street fashion...There's a variety of "Lolita" fashion after I've done some searching on the net, and I really like it all...
The category goes like this:
Classic Lolita - Inspired by the baroque and rococo style, the Classic Lolita tends to look more matured...One would choose deep and muted colours to wear with hair bands, head dresses or hand bags...
Sweet Lolita - To look the cutest and little-girlish as possible...The Sweet Lolita goes for pastel colours, floral prints or the all-white ensemble...End results, typically exudes a doll like appearance...This style is rather similar to the Classic Lolita...
Gothic Lolita - Said to be the most common and most popular category, the Gothic Lolita wears black and white lace and ribbons with matching dark makeup...Frilly Victorian blouses are matched with knee-length skirts worn over peticoats, topped with Mary Jane shoes...Some add gruesome details like bandages, fake blood and eye patches...
Punk Lolita - The Punk Lolita incorporates punk elements into her outfits, like plaids, safety pins and chains...One would also wears knee-high socks with boots or Mary Jane shoes...
Victorian Lolita - Dress in dark, elegant colours and seem to have a French fetish...Anyway, Victorian Lolitas are just what the name says: they look, act, and practically ARE something straight out of the Victorian era...Most in this style are ladylike and prim, rather polite and unbelievably beautiful...
A total of 5 different types, each unique and lovely in it's own ways...All 5 types are my favorites cuz it's simply too pretty to resist...Trust me, if you like laces and stuffs, you wouldn't leave out any of the 5 as well...
Well, I reckon there's more of different kinda "Lolita"...The above 5 mentioned, are actually lines that I've copied from certain websites and these are more of the usual stuffs heard...Upon gathering the informations, I've learned that "Gothic Lolita" is still the most popular style adopted by lotsa people, worldwide...However, "Punk Lolita" is catching up lately and seems to be the latest fashion trend now, in Japan...=))
In the past, I've thought of donning such clothes and go out shopping with my friends or rather, parade in it throughout...Then, I think again...I lacked the courage to do sooo, cuz I've got no friends who are into such stuffs and of cuz, I wouldn't be able to find anyone to accompany me in "Lolita" clothings...One thing was also because, the sets of "Lolita" clothings in the past were considered to be quite expensive to me...SOoo, I dumped the idea after a while...
Now, come to think again...I thought...Hey??? Might as well just try it out for once...=)) It's really nice and pretty and frilly and lacy...Except that, I've got to accept the stares that I'm gonna get, once out on the streets...Hmmm, maybe pals who think akin, could join me?? *Chuckles...And if I really do wanna try it out, then I've got to get one of those "Lolita" clothings completed with all the accessories and boots and stuffs...Ohhhh man, I bet that's gonna cost a bomb...
Maybe I should just continue dreaming bout' it...*Giggles...OR, I could try wearing one on my coming birthday in July???? *Lols...Open a 21st birthday bash, give it a costume theme then invite all friends to join in the fun??? *Laughs incessantly...Uh uh~~ Guess if I'm wearing then I'll just be the one to do it alone on my special day, cuz I reckon all good friends of mine might not wanna do it...*Giggles again...
What say you?? I, doing, perhaps "Sweet Lolita" or "Gothic Lolita"?? =)) Both are highly favorable to me, but I think "Sweet Lolita" dressing, is better for like a birthday bash or something...I could act super duper sweet and be looking like a wide eyed doll~~*feels like puking (Lols)...
Lalalallalaalallalala~ Should I?
"Sweet Lolita", just by hearing the word "Lolita" is already like having music to my ears...Ahhh~
Pictures of girls (mostly) dressing up in different kinda "Lolita" fashion would be up soon...It's totally gonna melt hearts of female readers!! Sooo stay tuned and watch out for the upcoming post!!!
