As promised, this is the fourth-post coming up... Yeah...I've been dragging and dragging...Finally, I'm finishing up...=)) Be prepared for yet another super long posting up ahead...Enjoys=))
Baiyoke Sky Hotel, Highest Hotel in the whole of Thailand...=)) Our accommodation during the 5days stay in Bangkok =)) It's really been very nice and comfy to had stayed in this hotel, thanks to Angie for the recommendations...
Me!! Laogong had me posed this one shot, luckily the picture isn't clear cuz I'm without any make-up...*Bleahs...I realised, my pose is like a Thailand dancer...(-.-")
Laogong requested for this shot, hmmm...I'm not sure why, but the background is nice!! This setting is actually located inside our hotel...Cool huh...=) Look at the san pan featured below in the picture?? There's this sign inside which states a payment (I forgot how much) if you break it...*Lols...Luckily, for us...Touched nothing except taking photos...
Yet another shot of Laogong, riding a trishaw...=)) He's my chauffeur, one and only one...*Giggles...
I love this picture very much!! Laogong's flying in the mid-air in a hot-air-balloon!! Up, up and away.......
And soooo, after having our breakfast and taking much photos, Laogong and I went up to the swimming pool!! Went for a dip, lazed around and poof! 1 hour plus gone...Took a few photos before leaving...=pLaogong posing with a twist...Swimming trunks was bought at a departmental store during day two, in Bangkok...=))
It's me again...Laogong kept pestering me, just to take these photos...Reluctantly agreed...No make-up again...
Laogong and I went back up to our room, bathed and got ourselves dressed up...The next stop, "Dreamworld"!! Weeeeeee!!! Laogong and I decided to go to the touring desks available at the hotel lobby, booked a chauffeur to and fro "Dreamworld" at 3500 baht...I reckoned that, it was too expensive in the first place and even dissuaded Laogong from going...Laogong knew how much I wanted to visit that place sooo, he said we should go...*Giggles..."Dreamworld" is totally outta Bangkok, hence, the need for a chauffeur...Laogong and I were told by the driver that if we're to hire a taxi instead, we might end up somewhere else...Which is scary!!
The entrance into "DreamWorld" !!!!! This is equivalent to the DisneyLand, or sooo the management of "Dreamworld" says...The weather's really a killer!! Scorching hot, not even I could stand it...
I'm grinning from face to face...=P I've been to "Dreamworld" during when I'm young...This is my second time here!! Sweet memories are back!!
Laogong finds this cute...Yeah, it is cute...Telling people where the rest room is by putting such a figure in the middle of "Dreamworld" = Imaginative? Lols...
Laogong and I went further into "Dreamworld" and that was, when Laogong saw the mini versions of the 8 wonders of the world...Oh well, this statue of liberty is not considered one of them...
Stone Henge...Hmmm, are these ancient ruins leftovers by the ancestors of Great Britain?? Nope, it's actually built the Briton, Celtic people, for religious and astronomical functions in the past...
This is "Angkor Wat"...Guess this is located in Tibet but I'm not sure of it totally, cuz it's not written in the descriptions...
The "Golden Mountain"This is also not in the category of the world's wonders, but I think this was inside cuz it is located in Thailand too...
I wanted Laogong in this shot...*Lols...The pair of feet?? Ar uh...Not Laogong's...Looks deceiving huh...
Superman to the rescue!!!! Woooos...He's my superhero!! Yeah...Yayaya, you've guessed it...I asked Laogong to pose for this picture too...
Wow!!! Laogong won this match!!! How amazing!! I'm totally baffled by how he's managed to do it sooo well...
Laogong likes elephants and monkeys...=P No one posed in this picture...Laogong actually asked me to sit over there...I declined, it's hot!!! I was sweating like hell...Nevertheless, this is cute...
See??? I told you, Laogong likes elephant...*Wahahahas...Actually thought of riding it too, but I'm a spoilt-spot...I didn't want to ride on it due to the weather, it's that hot!!! Laogong could only satisfy himself by taking this picture...*Pouts...
Laogong climbed onto the giant chairs at once upon seeing it...A giant at heart but small in size...
Giant's kitchen, everything you possibly need for cooking a giant's meal...Giant sized, needless to say...
This next place, (Haunted house) scared the hells outta me...I'm a very timid girl...Yeah! Luckily, Laogong walked in front of me while the chauffeur walked behind me, lessen my timidness but still I shouted when I was scared by one of the dummies inside...Laogong was startled and he too jumped...*Giggles...All the while, I was concentrating on walking faster rather then experiencing the whole thingy...Scary...See?? Laogong could still smile after the walk-through...(-.-") I was still trembling...Playing poker with skeletons huh???
I went to the toilet, came out...Saw this shot of Laogong punching the vampire...*Lols...I asked Laogong, why did he chose to pose like this when most people wouldn't...Laogong just said it was for fun...*(-.-") I still think, this is hilarious...=P
A punch for the vampire wasn't enough to satisfy Laogong, sooo he immediately requested for this next shot...Pretends to be half-dead and carrying his own head...Creepy!!
I love this car!! All made up with roses and tons of roses...There's even a mini petrol-refueling station beside...
After the cable car ride, Laogong bought more water for us both to quench our thirst...Finally, I couldn't stand the heat and decided that it was time we went back...Bubye, "Dreamworld" !! Enjoyed myself with Laogong very much...=))I fell asleep through out the journey back to Bangkok, we had the chauffeur drove us back to Siam Discovery Center and Laogong tipped him before we got off his car...The chauffeur thanked us both sincerely...Anyway, Laogong and I went around window-shopping but there's nothing much in the shopping malls...Sooo, we decided to go for our dinner...Been around to few restaurants and finally chose this pizza place in "Siam Center"...
*Yummy!!! Buy 1 get 1 pizza free!!! Greedy Laogong and I...Enticed by the food menu, we ordered the 1 for 1 pizzas, a cheese garlic bread and calamari rings plus a jug of coke...In the end, we couldn't even finish 1/2 of it all...Had the waitress there packed up our pizzas, and then we billed...
Guess how much we paid for this meal??? A mere SG $25 bucks!!!! Half the price paid for a meal that you could never get to enjoy in the SG "Pizza Huts"...*Giggles...Their pizzas, really delicious!!!
Laogong and I then went over to "Siam Square" and shopped around...Tried looking around for fake "Anna Sui" accessories but found none...I saw a lingerie shop called "The Undercover" after much walking and pulled Laogong into the shop with me...There's a huge range of brassieres sets and lingeries available but most were limited in sizes, I managed to get a sweet pink set of brassieres and a pink corset plus a thigh band...Just in case, you're wondering what a thigh band is...Take a look in Japanese fashion magazines like "Cawaii", thigh bands are worn around the upper thigh area as a fashion statement in Japan...I liked the idea very much and sooo I bought one of it...=))Laogong and I went off after my lingerie snatches...Decided to walk back to the hotel, and before leaving "Siam Square" Laogong saw this car and had to take pictures of it...It's nice but I don't quite like the color of it...*Bleahs...
Laogong and I made it just 10 minutes in time, before the hotel management's about to close the revolving rooftop for the night...We had a nice view high up on the 84th floor and took a few pictures of the night views before leaving...Laogong and I also got a kind Japanese tourist to take this photo us both before we got out of the rooftop area...
Laogong and I took more pictures on the 77th floor!! I liked this back scene, got Laogong to take photos of me inside...It's like I've travelled back to the good ole' days...
Though, you only see me sitting down but I'm doing my settlements of sales for the day with my trusty beads calculator...*Bleahs...
Look out for the very last post to my Bangkok trip soon!! =))
