Thailand Trip 3
Laogong and I went to shop around in the Baiyoke Sky Tower after having our breakfast, and bought quite a number of stuffs...The bargaining in this area was good cuz everything is selling at their wholesale prices, and I managed to buy more clothes from this one building alone...Pictures are posted at the end of this post...=))
We headed back to the hotel after doing much shopping, got ourselves bathed and dressed up then went down to Siam Paragon...Laogong and I had planned to go to the Siam Ocean World which is located in the basement of Siam Paragon, and we had lotsa fun in the end!! =)) Pictures are all posted up, sooo do enjoy!!! This is yet another super long post!!
Laogong and I bought two full-package tickets into Siam Ocean World upon reaching...The package includes a photo-shoot, free popcorn, free soft drink, a free glass-boat ride and a free madness ride...All of which, Laogong and I redeemed except for the glass-boat ride...
Look at this weird-looking sea creature below....I had no idea what it's called but I thought it sure looked disgusting to me...Laogong even took multiple shots of it but I just chose to upload one of the photos...This is just the side view, didn't upload a full front view of it cuz I'm disgusted by the looks of it...*Yucks

Giant spider crabs!! This is one of the first few sea creatures that Laogong and I saw upon entering the place...I think it's a ten times larger than the normal crabs...That is how big it is...

Look at these cute worms, half-buried into the sandy ground...=)) Laogong recorded a short clip of them, but I'm still trying to figure out, how to upload them onto my blog...Meanwhile, pictures will do the talking...I don't know if they're worms, and they do resembled snakes but really tiny winy ones...Cute!!

Off goes the crabbies, now comes the lobster!! A mini lobster, hmmm think it's roughly the size of a guy's hand or slightly larger...Yup, that's the size of it...=))

Oooh...Look!! Stick fishies!! =P These two featured in the ocean world are said to be just one of the few species of stick fishes...The color of these stick fishes, as you can see is green...It aids in their camouflaging with the sea plants in the real deep sea, from predators...

Seahorses!!!! Cute huh...Couldn't differentiate which is a male or female, but I did saw a pair of seahorses mating before Laogong took this picture...The duo swam and sticked together everywhere they went...

It's me, with the beautiful multi-colored coral reefs and fishes =))

Laogong with the sea anemones?? I'm not sure whether it's called sea anemones...These sea creatures are like giant sea eels...They all have a fierce look and it's said to scare off it's predators...

A close-up shot of them...Apparently, they swam too fast for Laogong to take photos, hence the blury effect...

Sea eels...I wonder how many are there inside the small pot, they swam like ribbons flowing freely in the water...I don't even know where it the head or tail...=)

Me, again...With sooo many fishes behind...

Urm, pardon me again cuz I don't know that name of this fish as well...I only know that it looks quite pretty and stripy...Laogong waited for quite sometime before it finally opens up it wings or fins or whatever you can that, before getting this shot of it...

Another long-awaited shot of the fishes...This time round, a trio in action...The strips of these fishes kinda reminded me of "Nemo"...*Lols...

Sharks!! Swimming freely...Are they carnivores or herbivores or omnivores?? Beats me...There's a wide species of sharks and some of which actually feeds on plants instead of eating meat...

Me, again...Posing with a whole pool of assorted colors fishies behind =))

Laogong with a turtle in his hands...It's cute but I didn't dared touch it, not to mention carry it...Laogong seemed to like the turtle quite a lil...*Giggles...

Urm, what's this called?? I seriously cant recall...Oops...All I know is that, this is a male one and as you can see from the picture, it's fur is wet...The male one likes to dip into water unlike the female which prefers to be dry...

This is the female! Waiting to catch it's food...It's fur totally dry...

A kind staff from Siam Ocean World took this picture for us...=)) The sand castle behind Laogong and I, craved with the words, Siam Ocean World...

A huge stingray!! Sooo huge that Laogong exclaimed out loud upon seeing it...

Hmmm, Laogong and I found a car in the middle of ocean world? A nice looking car?? Take a look at the next photo, to see why it's inside ocean world...

Ta-Da!!! Cuz it's actually a fish tank for the fishes!! That's why it is inside ocean world...Bet you didn't knew that it could be a fish tank huh...*Giggles...Real living fishes swimming inside the car!! How cool is that?

Wow, yet another discovery?? Refrigerators turned into fish tanks as well?? Yeah, it's real!! Cant believe your eyes huh? =))

A closer look at the inside of the fridge...Comes with free pepsi, you know? *Lols...

Laogong introducing the latest model of microwave oven =)) The plus point of this special microwave oven is that, it could double up as a fish tank for your fishes =)) Get it now or never from "Siam Ocean World" !! *Giggles...I'm just kidding...=P

Wow!!A mini wine-bar with fishes inside too?? Yes, it is...

Look closer...Still not enough?? There's just one more electric appliance to go...Scroll down!!

What's this??? A washing-machine?? Washing fishes?? Nah, it's a fish tank too...=))

Close-up shot...Not exactly very clear...=)) All these cool electrical appliances used as fish tanks are sponsored by "Sanyo", as Laogong and I've seen...

End of touring "Siam Ocean World"...Laogong and I went for the madness ride included in the package after, and had a fun time laughing...It was 3D movie, with the almost real effects...A short but fun ride...=))
Laogong and I got hungry after seeing all the fishes and experiencing the ride, sooo we decided to eat at the food court just a floor above...I took a few photos of the food court while Laogong went to order food...Just compare this food court to our local SG food courts...What a difference!! This food court alongside with all the other food courts, which you can find in Bangkok uses a card for payment at the various foodstalls too...No matter how run-down the shopping center is, there's bound to be one of these food courts located inside...

Isn't the ambiance nice? There's also a fish tank in the middle of the food court...It's too clean here, compared to our regular food courts back in SG....

There's even a tissue dispenser with toothpicks provided at the side...How is it possible to see that appearing in SG food courts?? Somehow, I thought it makes us (Singaporeans) look very uncivilized cuz we don't bother to use things properly...Anyway, no offences in mentioning that...=P The orange card, which we used to purchase our food...

Our chicken and vegetables spaghetti with a large-sized, strawberry tea!! *Yum, yummy...

Laogong and I walked over to Siam Square after our dinner, my handphone was transformed from normal instantly to glamorous=))) Love it sooo much...

Then, Laogong and I decided to go down to Suan Lam night market...We took the skytrain (BTS), followed by the subway to get our destination...This picture below is me, of course...In my hands are the tokens which Laogong and I used for taking the subway...

Laogong took this photo while we're walking on the overhead bridge...

Finally, we're outside Suan Lam Night Market!! Laogong asked one of the passerby to take this picture of us...

Yet another picture of us both in Suan Lam night market...

What have we got here...Tickets to the Roue de Paris Big Wheel!! I forgotten how much is the ticket...=P

US, while waiting for our turn to board the faeries wheel...

Weeee....Faeries Wheel...

A shot of us both, inside the faeries wheel...The night view from on top is breath-taking...

I took a photo of the whole "Suan Lam" night market whilst on board the faeries wheel...Laogong and I took more than 2hours to finish shopping in this night market!!

Look at what I've bought from Baiyoke Sky Wholesale center...2for myself and 1 for Laogong's sister...=)) It's really cheap!! Just that I can't remember how much...=P

1 pair of jeans shorts and 2 other cargo shorts...Cheap!! Cheap, super cheap!! =)) The jeans shorts and the green cargo shorts are bought together with 1 of Laogong's tee at "Checkmate"...=)) Brown cargo shorts was bought from yet another shop, Laogong also bought 3 tees along with it...
