Went to town with Ah ger and Serene via the bus, bought my camera along and ah ger started cam-whoring all the way...Two days before the 3rd year anniversary of Laogong and me, panicked me, got ah ger and Serene to accompany me to buy presents...We all ended up having lotsa fun, laughing and chatting and I bought lotsa stuffs...
"Levis Copper Jeans" as the present for Laogong...I also bought a "Levis" black long sleeve top...In the midst of me, trying the various "Levis" tops, ah ger was still engrossed with my camera...Taking photos non-stop...
Finally, everything was bought and we decided to head back to Jurong Point...We took the mrt back...More cam-whoring again...I got ah ger to take this picture of me, while we're still waiting for the mrt...Lotsa shopping bags!!!! I feel good...=P
My fabulous buys...Love them all...=)))
Gonna post about my recent whereabouts, what I did and stuffs....I've been posting on the Thailand trip mega loads and now that it's finally done, I could do my regular posts again!!! *Hees...Here goes!!! Enjoy reading again!!!
April 11 2006
Met up with my dearest sister, Ping...We went for Kbox lunch at Jurong East and had a great 2 hours singing...It's been sooo long since we've last been to Kbox together, Ping and I almost forgotten how to sing our favourite songs...
Both Ping and I ordered ice-lemon-tea and Vietnam spicy fish bento, but the drinks and food served to us were disappointing...Ice-lemon-tea looked liked it but tasted bland!! The bento was worst, the fish was hard to chew on and the side dish was pathetic...Ping and I weren't even full after finishing...
Anyway, we went off at 2 plus in the afternoon...Ping and I took photos at the arcade just a floor below and then went down to "IMM"...We went to "DMK" and both, bought the same pair of flats...Ping bought the black colored one while I bought the pink one, we decided to head back to Jurong Point via the "IMM" shutter bus cuz Ping had to go for work later on...
We reached Jurong Point's bus interchange at around 4plus, my stomach was growling by then...Ping felt hungry too sooo we bought our food at the coffee shop in the bus interchange and then parted ways after...
Gonna go out with Ping again soon!! =)) I miss her lots...
31 March 2007
Went out with Ah ger...Took the express bus 502 down to Orchard with her, first stop "Wheellock Place" to collect her handphone from "Nokia Care"...We went over to Scotts and had our late lunch at KFC's then after went over to "FEP" (Far East Plaza) for some shopping...There wasn't much to look at, but I managed to buy a nice cherry-imprinted, translucent top from one of the shops in "FEP"...
It was kinda boring shopping around in town these days, always selling the same ole' stuffs...We headed down to "Takashimaya", looked for ah ger's mummy and accompanied her mum for her break...We then, went to shop around some more...
Last purchase of the day, was a pair of red skinny jeans from "Zara"...Ah ger's totally into red and black these days, I'm also into red...Red skinny jeans, something fresh apart from my regular "Levis" jeans...Ah ger says that not much people dares to wear red jeans and mostly are clad in blue, white or black jeans which is very true after a round of observing...
Since then, I've been looking around for people who does wear red skinny jeans...*Lols
We went back to Jurong Point and I bought my "Ayumi Hamasaki's A Best 2 Black" album!! Ah ger and I parted ways around 10plus, and I went back to Laogong's place after meeting him...
30 March 2007
Laogong's off day!! Accompanied me down to Vivo again, in the afternoon... Laogong and I had lunch at "Marche", very limited choices available at this branch but food was still nice...Especially, the smoked salmon!!! *Yummm!!! Even Laogong who doesn't likes to eat raw, liked to eat the smoked salmon...=))
We shopped around Vivo for quite a while, and I bought a half-cardigan from "E-Base"...Went off at around 5plus in the evening, after Huimin helped me with buying the Anna Sui stuffs that I wanted at staff prices...I was sooo happy with my purchases!!! Bought the new deluxe full mascara, new foundation and the limited edition cleanser white...
Laogong and I cabbed back to his house and rested till it was time for us to go out with his family...We went to the "Thai Village" restaurant in "Taman Jurong" for a mini celebration of Laogong's grandma's birthday...
I always thought that, this restaurant is quite empty...Don't always see a lot of customers patronizing but I was wrong when I stepped in cuz there's people sitting everywhere inside eating...(-.-") I'm sucha mountain tortoise...
The food was great!!! Loved the food served there, but portions too lil'...Service was good too!! Laogong also liked the food very much...It was cake-cutting session after the meal, and we all sang her a birthday song when the restaurant had the song played...Grandma even made a birthday wish before blowing out the candles, it was durian cake which is also very delicious...
We took pictures of grandma with the cake and also had family pictures taken together after...Headed back home after finishing half the cake...
Another day spent and passed...=))
23 March 2007
Laogong and I went down to Vivo, had our dinner at the foodcourts there and then I went for the "Cleo" magazine's "Barbie-lookalike" contest...Laogong and I had agreed to meet up with Emeleen and Rennis at around 8pm in the night but we're late due to the makeover I had...
In order to join the contest, I bought a "Cleo" magazine (as told by one of the "M.A.C" staffs) and had to spend $80 on "M.A.C" products...It wasn't my intention to join the contest at first, but because friends kept telling me to try sooo I thought, I could just give it a shot and try for fun...Besides, I was eyeing on the new makeup collections and intending to buy them for myself...
Laogong waited for me while I chose my items...In the end, I took the limited edition "Barbie lipglass", "Barbie eyeshadow in the color-Playful", a "Beauty marked eyeshadow color" and a liquid eyeliner...Had thought of buying the limited edition " M.A.C Barbie doll" but did not, when Laogong asked me what uses do I have for a doll...
I was whisked off to the makeover after buying the stuffs, I had my own makeup on sooo the makeup artist just did some touching up for me...I did not really like the after results and Laogong told me that, my own makeup would be better...Nevertheless, I had to rush for time sooo my hair was quickly done by another person and then off to photoshoot...
It was pretty awkward having to pose in relaxing manners for the photographer, I was sooo stiff from all the staring of by passers...Laogong stood aside watching me as well, the photographer took lotsa photos for me and then had me made the final decision for the one to be printed out...I chose one of it and it was printed out on the spot...The photographer gave me two copies, one for the contest and one for myself to keep...
I posted one of the photos then took the other one, to show Huimin...Even she too, said that I should do my own makeup then take the photo shoot...Laogong and Huimin both said, I would have looked more like a doll with my makeup skills...*shrugs...What's done had been done, I couldn't do much...
Left Vivo then, and decided to cabbed down to Clementi to meet Emeleen and Rennis cuz Laogong and I were already late...Managed to reached Partyworld at Clementi around 8plus, had a singing session together with the couple till late night...
Me & Laogong =))
We all could have been there together...Took some photos with them and then after much singing, we parted ways and finally got back to Laogong's house for some rest....
17 March 2007
Laogong's off day!!! We went down to "Raffles City Shopping Center" to get my shimmer eyeliner from "SkinFood" and also "Carmex" lip balm from one the shops there...Bought "Chippy" takeaways and munched on it while Laogong and I walked over to "Bugis" where I ended up buying lotsa stuffs!!!! We've arranged to meet up with Kevin but we arrived earlier and sooo went around shopping first...
I went into "Mumu Ya" after seeing it's discounts signs outside...Came out with satisfaction after cuz I bought my favourites from the place!!! "Mumu Ya" sells all the "Sanrio" stuffs like "Hello Kitty" and "My Melody"...I was just browsing when I stepped in but ended up buying the "Hello Kitty" handbag, wallet, card holder and handphone pouch because they're all too cute to resist!!
Laogong knew, he couldn't stop me and sooo helped me to check the stuffs thoroughly for anywhere spoilt or what...Laogong was scrutinizing the items sooo thoroughly that we got more discounts, then he paid...I got a membership card cuz the total was more than $100 after all the discounts...
Laogong and I then went over to the photo-taking booth and took a neoprint of ourselves!! It's been sooo long since we last took one together, I love the pictures!!
Kevin arrived shortly, and we met up with him...Kevin handed Laogong and me some presents that he got for us when he went overseas, 2pair of earrings for me and a "Hugo Boss" key chain for Laogong...
We went to Aijisen for our dinner after that and had a very full meal while Kevin only had orange juice...Kevin went off to meet his girlfriend and we went over to "Bugis Street" for some shopping around...
Bought the nail glue that I've been searching for and also same fake lashes from one of the shops in the second floor...Laogong and I then headed back to Jurong Point for pool...
End of updates!!! I'm gonna do more postings soon...=))
All these are recorded in while Bangkok...Enjoy

Laogong bought wine chocolates for his best pal, Stanly and also bought me a Clarins foundation (cuz I've finished mine while in Bangkok) at the airport...Laogong and quickly went for boarding, we're both the last to board the plane and luckily the plane waited for us...=PP
Laogong bought the Tiger Airways mini plane model while on the plane and later gave it to his dad when he realised he's bought nothing for him...I've reminded him couple of times but he only realised till then...(-.-'")
As promised, this is the fourth-post coming up... Yeah...I've been dragging and dragging...Finally, I'm finishing up...=)) Be prepared for yet another super long posting up ahead...Enjoys=))
Laogong posing with a twist...Swimming trunks was bought at a departmental store during day two, in Bangkok...=))
"Dreamworld" is totally outta Bangkok, hence, the need for a chauffeur...Laogong and I were told by the driver that if we're to hire a taxi instead, we might end up somewhere else...Which is scary!!
The entrance into "DreamWorld" !!!!! This is equivalent to the DisneyLand, or sooo the management of "Dreamworld" says...The weather's really a killer!! Scorching hot, not even I could stand it...
This is also not in the category of the world's wonders, but I think this was inside cuz it is located in Thailand too...
See?? Laogong could still smile after the walk-through...(-.-") I was still trembling...Playing poker with skeletons huh???
I fell asleep through out the journey back to Bangkok, we had the chauffeur drove us back to Siam Discovery Center and Laogong tipped him before we got off his car...The chauffeur thanked us both sincerely...Anyway, Laogong and I went around window-shopping but there's nothing much in the shopping malls...Sooo, we decided to go for our dinner...Been around to few restaurants and finally chose this pizza place in "Siam Center"...
*Yummy!!! Buy 1 get 1 pizza free!!! Greedy Laogong and I...Enticed by the food menu, we ordered the 1 for 1 pizzas, a cheese garlic bread and calamari rings plus a jug of coke...In the end, we couldn't even finish 1/2 of it all...Had the waitress there packed up our pizzas, and then we billed...
Guess how much we paid for this meal??? A mere SG $25 bucks!!!! Half the price paid for a meal that you could never get to enjoy in the SG "Pizza Huts"...*Giggles...Their pizzas, really delicious!!!
Laogong and I went off after my lingerie snatches...Decided to walk back to the hotel, and before leaving "Siam Square" Laogong saw this car and had to take pictures of it...It's nice but I don't quite like the color of it...*Bleahs...
Laogong and I made it just 10 minutes in time, before the hotel management's about to close the revolving rooftop for the night...We had a nice view high up on the 84th floor and took a few pictures of the night views before leaving...Laogong and I also got a kind Japanese tourist to take this photo us both before we got out of the rooftop area...
Look out for the very last post to my Bangkok trip soon!! =))
