Updates!!! =))Hi all!! I'm back again...
I went to work as usual in the early morning, did my eye make-up and made sure that my counter was squeaky clean after doing all the wiping...Had my usual daily paperwork done, then went down to basement 1...I was determined to get the donuts from "Donut Factory" which i hadn't been able to eat for like, I don't know how many weeks or even months...
I'm not sure since when did "Donut Factory" has a queue crowd, and it's always been a long queue whenever i pass by...Donuts are just donuts, aren't they??? I seriously don't think there is anything specifically unique, just that the "Towkay" knows how to "dress up" these donuts and make them all turn into "Cinderellas"...Some flavours are nice though weird, but is it necessary to create a massive queue crowd??? While I was queuing up, waiting impatiently, I overheard another auntie who was in front of me, saying that she's never heard of "Donut Factory" before, but just wanna queue up because she saw many others doing the same...You see a queue means must join, why not go commit suicide when you read about another person doing it?? I was also approached by two women during when I queued up, asking me why there's sucha long queue even before the shop is opened, they even thought that it was a sale or something(-.-")...I replied by saying that this is the common practice when people see a queue, when it started out there was not even a single soul...
Are our fellow Singaporeans really sooo "KIASU"?? I think should be lar, am I right?? Cuz "KIASU" runs in our blood...haiz...Kinda reminded me of the "Hello Kitty Craze" a few years back...Now, I can't enjoy donuts as and when, I like, especially my favourite "Wasabi Cheese"...*Shrugs..."Donut Factory" not really as fantastic, just a wide range of variety but worth a try, surely there's no need to be sooo "KIASU"...You scare eat bo meh?
Guess what?? I ended up queuing up for more than an hour's time for the freaking donuts!!!!! Joreen came down to join me for a short while, then went to get her breakfast from the bakery nearby...When Joreen was back, I was still in the queue...(-.-") Joreen couldn't wait that long cuz her counter was unattended sooo she went back without me, shortly after Laogong called me up...I thought Laogong had gone to sleep after he got off work, turned out to be that he had actually gone down to "Doby Gaut" (CitiBank), to collect his newly applied credit cards...Laogong decided to come down to my work place and give me a surprise, but couldn't find me...*Lols...I was queuing up all along for the freaking donuts, hence the disappearence from my counter, sooo Laogong came over to look for me...
"Donut Factory" only opens at 12.30pm, sooo there goes my time, wasted...Therefore, I'm not gonna go down and queue up stupidly for more than an hour again...Luckily, I was the first few customers sooo I just grabbed and go off quickly...Laogong offered to pay for my donuts and also bought a box of 12 different flavours (because I spent more than an hour's time queuing up, not gonna waste it!!) which, I asked Laogong to get for his mother n sister...I was happy to see Laogong, cuz he made an effort coming down to see me, despite the fact that he was already lacking a lot of sleep...(PS: If Laogong, you see this post, I just wanna say: Thanks sooo much, Laogong ^^)
I went back to my counter after seeing Laogong took a cab off...The rest of the day, was rather plain...
Well, tomorro's my long awaited off day again!!! =)) I'm sooo happy...Laogong recently asked if he has bought anything for me in this month after taking his salary cum bonus, I gave it a serious thought than told him, NO...*Lols..Which was true cuz we hadn't been shopping of late...Laogong knew that I wanted a pair of boots for CNY, sooo he said that it would be his gift to me for the month, we would be going down to "City Plaza" tomorro to shop for my boots!!! =)) I gave up the thought of buying the leopard prints boots cuz it doesnt look well with my jeans tucked in, when I went to "OG Albert" to try it on, two weeks back...Weeeeeeeee, boots, BOOTS, boots, here i come!!!
