It's yet another off day of Laogong's and mine, we both agreed to go into JB (Johor Bahru) on
this day to get new pairs of contact lens cuz our contact lens expired...
Laogong accompanied me down to my dentist, for another one of my braces appointment...My teeth felt sooo sore after my dentist changed the colored bands and wire for my braces, then after that we took a cab down to Woodlands checkpoint...
Laogong and I reached JB around 12noon after going through the SG and MY's customs, it's been quite awhile since we last visited and this time round, the Singapore customs area has a faster way for us to get into JB by scanning our passport and thumbprint...Laogong and I tried out the system and it was really fast plus there's no hassle and on top of all, it saves us more time then having to queue up to get to the custom officers...
Laogong and I walked towards City Square and then boarded a taxi to get to "JUSCO" Tebau City, it's a huge shopping mall quite a distance away from "City Square"...Actually, Laogong and I never had the intention of going anywhere far but when Joanne told and recommended me about the place, we both thought of going there for once to see...The first thing, Laogong and I did was to look for food upon reaching "JUSCO"...There are lotsa restaurants and eateries, that got Laogong and me pondering over which to choose from, the final decision was a Japanese ramen restaurant...After our food, we went window-shopping around but never really bought anything, I even played a round of "Para Para" at the arcade inside "JuSCO"...
We left "Jusco" after buying some donuts and took a cab down to Holiday Plaza, it was raining while we were on the way there but luckily the rain went away fast...Laogong and I went to the usual spectacles store from which we purchase our contact lens from, and told the sales person what we wanted...Laogong got his 6 month supply of normal degrees contact lens while I decided to get my usual (Iris Plus), but with degrees...The sales person took down my degrees and told me that I've got to come back on the 14th of December to collect it, Laogong and I both agreed to come in again sooo Laogong paid and we left...
We bought more DVDs and also PS2 games then left for "City Square"...Laogong and I had our dinner at the "Wong Kok Hong Kong Tea Restaurant" and were both utterly disppointed with the service and food they provided this time round...Laogong and I had no choice but to finish our food and finally make our way back to Singapore...We're both sooo tired that we went to sleep as soon as we reached his house...
