26July2005 JB Trip
Hehehehe...i'm sooo happy on my birthday 26th July 2005...It was a well spent day with my Laogong...lol...Thanks for bring me sooo much JOY on my special day, Love laogong to bits!! The day before our trip, Lagong stayed over at my place, hugging me to sleep...eh, nono he fell asleep first then i got to bed...Next day i woke up at 9.30am to get ready and laogong continued sleeping for a little while...I woke Laogong up at 10.30am, when i realised i took a long time finishing my make-up...lol...Laogong refused to get up and even gestured me to wake him up at 11am instead, aiyo...Going to JB needs time, we must not be late so i pestered Laogong to wake up...hahaha...
We set off from Laogong's house after he bathed and changed at about 11.30am, I estimated that we would reach JB at 12.30pm...keke and i was right...lol...The customs officers reminded me to change my passport photo but till now i still have no time to do it!! I'm busy with work, alright not exactly very busy but my only free time is on Sunday and i don't suppose IMMG opens on this day right?? lol, nevermind anyway...
Laogong and i walked to City Square 1st and quickly sourced for food to eat cuz we had'nt took our lunch... On the way to the Food Court i saw a push cart selling acessories, then i facied a heart pendant necklace...Laogong knew i liked it too and bought it for me, the original price was at 29.90MYR but after a 20% or so discount Laogong paid for my fav necklace at 21.90MYR...lolx...There was'nt a wide selection and we did'nt wanna settle down with Macdonald's so we went to the food court on the last floor of City Square...After much browsing, we both decided to try out the "TIE BAN" mushroom chicken noodles(him) and sweet n sour pork rice(her)...Laogong's noodles tasted better then my rice...I regretted chosing the sweet n sour pork rice which is so not yummy and totally off standards...yucks*
After that Laogong and i continued shopping around City Square, i went into Levis Store and had a peek at the new Square Cut Jeans' prices...lol...really alot cheaper then in SG...Then Laogong bought a Tee on the 3rd floor, i chose for him de!! hehehehhe...bought the Tee with a 30% discount too...I went into a few shops to look at the clothings but none caught my eye...Laogong and me continued walking then i saw a ARCADE (with a plush toy catcher inside)...i pointed to the Plush Toy Catcher machine and Laogong immediately went to change some tokens to try his luck...Laogong changed a total of 4MYR and managed to catch a Pigglet for me with his first token!! Sooo lucky!! But then Pigglet was'nt released at all, cuz the gripper got stuck in Pigglet's hat...hahhha, Laogong got the maintenence guy to released Pigglet in the end(amusing!! hehehhehe)...keke, then i pointed to the Eyore...Laogong tried again but failed this time cuz he pressed the wrong button...Then he attempted a 2nd time which in the end was successful!! hahahha...sooo HAPPY!!(^0^)
I was sooo happy i carried Pigglet and Eyore in my hands all the while, then Laogong decided to go to Holiday Plaza...Holiday Plaza was a much run down shopping centre unlike City Square, but there was still much to walk about as the place is huge!! There were quite a few vendors yelling out at Laogong asking him if he wants to buy DVD...Laogong declined all of them and continued bringing me around...heehehe...I went into Levis Store again (but this is the Holiday Plaza outlet! keke) and looked at the Square Cut Jeans again...The prices are same, Laogong at this moment was sneezing and began feeling sick...Poor Laogong kept blowing his nose, our tissues all finished up...Laogong saw a shirt he thought was quite nice and asked for my opinion, i thought otherwise and told him not to buy...its really not that nice...Then we went to buy some bubble gums and chewing gums which costed us around 22.30MYR bah, the salesgirl gave us 2 more polo sweets for free... We window-shopped and half-way through i bought my Mangas at a bookshop...A set of volume1-6 at only 27MYR!! CHeap man!! A set in SG equivilent to here would probably cost me $40-$50plus!! Its a real bargain!! kekeke...
By this time we were half exhausted but Laogong thought of going elsewhere again, so we boarded a Taxi and asked the TAXi driver where can we still shop...The taxi driver drove us to SENTOSA(not the SG sentosa k!!), we were utterly disppointed...We got a little hungry and went to the food court inside, ordered chicken rice and yong tau foo soup...It was cheap and delicious...lol...Then it was time to go back to City Square to buy my Levis!! weeeeee!!! Laogong was still sick but he try to accompany me as much as he could, his nose sometimes sneezing and sometimes totally alright...I tried the "Eve straight cut" as well as the "Patty Anne slim cut", both also very nice!! i could'nt make up my mind at all...Asked Laogong for suggestions but he too said both looked nice, aiyo...lols, very confusing right?? hahahah, in the end i chose "Eve straight cut" ("Patty Anne" is not really suitable for matching all kinds of clothes) and Laogong paid for it...We went looking for a sling bag to buy while my jeans was sent was alteration...Alot of stuffs are in Laogong's hands and he's tired to carry, he does'nt wants me to carry as well...We walked into a shop full of bags, quickly picked a black sling bag and paid for it at a discounted price oso!! lol, I collected my Levis jeans and off we went to SG Lot1 to meet up with Rennis and Emeleen...
We had our dinner with Rennis and Emeleen at Ajisen Ramen and they also passed me my bday present...heheheh...Walked around Lot 1 for a short while then took the bus back to Laogong's house and rest...What a day we had!! heheheheh...All the things i had bought from JB were paid by Laogong, the $$ i changed was left untouched!! Thanks Laogong!! heheheh...I Love You!!
